We landed with a THUD in the middle of the Tower. We had been dating for about 3 years, one of those I was in jail. Our ship name is Janny (Danny and Jack). Things are real serious between us and I almost asked a question.
Over the years, I didn't get to see Danny very much because of his work, and each time I did see him, it was like he was a totally different person. I sometimes wondered if I looked any different to him as he did to me. Nevermind that, I am afraid heights, but what Danny did next made me forget where I was.
"Jack, I have been loving you for 3 YEARS now. Neither one of us has slept with the other. I was wondering if you wanted to sleep at my place tonight." I was full of shock. That is not what I was expecting in my mind. Now it was my turn to say what I wanted to say.
"I would be glad to. But I have something to ask you." I was starting to get very nervous. What if he said no? What if he was secretly cheating on me? Who would he cheat on me with? I kept asking myself these three questions as I mustered up the strength.
"Well, ask away." He was getting very annoyed. It was like he had something to tell me but was to afraid to ask.
"Will you marry me?" I got down on one knee and pulled out a ring I stole from the TARDIS.
"Jack, I need to tell you something." He sounded very concerned. Like he would lose something if he told me.
"What's going on sweetheart?" I was starting to get very scared. What was he going to tell me? Was he really cheating on me?
"I've been seeing someone else." I think he was pretty sure that he would lose me after he said that. I almost fell off the top of the Tower at that statement.
"May I ask who the lucky fellow is?" I was starting to boil with anger but did not show it.
"Someone you know and trust."
"Will you just tell me who?!?" My anger was starting to show a little. Calm down I kept saying to myself. I backed up a little farther on the edge.
"It's the Doctor." I couldn't hold it in anymore. I fell off the edge of the tower.
"JACK!!" He screamed, panic was in his voice.
"If he loved me, why would he cheat on me with the Doctor?" "He knew I loved him, but how did he even know the Doctor?" I asked myself these two questions over and over as I fell to the ground.
