Doctor Jack

Chapter 9

I grabbed on to the side of the TARDIS and rode all the way through the time vortex. It was a most interesting ride. When we stopped, I knew right where we were. First, I had to pass out.
                    *15 min later*
    "What the HELL did you do?" The Doctor screamed in terror.
    "Well, I grabbed on to the side of the TARDIS, rode through, passed out, woke back up and started this conversation with you." I stated all of this as though it were completely obvious.
      "Thanks Captain Obvious." She stated in a smart-allec voice.
     "No. It's Captain Jack Harkness!! Everybody gets my name wrong!" I was starting to boil with anger and rage.
     "Nevermind that, why did you do that?" The Doctor asked. He seemed unsure about what he was asking.
     "I'm not losing you again!" I replied. I think I had the sad puppy look on my face because the Doctor got all sympathetic.
     "Well then. What time period are we in?" I asked politely.
     "I think it's the year 2089. Not sure though." The Doctor replied.
     "I just go with what he says most if the time." She said, surprisingly very calm.
     "Ok. Where are we?" I asked. I was starting to gain confidence.
     "I think we're on top of the London Eye." The Doctor replied. He didn't seem very sure of himself though.
     "Isn't that the ferris wheel the Consiousness was using to make the manakins come to life?" She asked. She knew the answer but she just wanted confirmation.
     "This is what I miss about you. Your wonderful memory. Yes you are right." The Doctor said. I couldn't tell, but I think he wanted a kiss. She wanted one to, but she didn't want to kiss him in front of me. She's actually learning some manners!!
     "Go ahead. Kiss. It won't bother me as long as you do it in private." I turned away and heard the TARDIS door slam shut.
                   *2 min. later*
     "Are you about done in there?!?" I turned around and nobody was there!! Not even the TARDIS!!
