Doctor Jack

Chapter 5

(TARDIS engine landing)

We landed in Rome, I couldn't tell the year though. We met someone that seemed very familiar to the Doctor, but not to me.

"'Allo mate. Keeping the consciousness under control?" I couldn't believe it. The Doctor was just talking to this man like he had seen him yesterday. I was hoping he would introduce me to the handsome lad that seemed to be his friend.

"It's been hard, but I've been getting much better at controlling it." He was looking over at me like he was hoping he would get to meet me to.

"Good, good. How's the wife?" He looked very concerned now. I wondered if he had found someone before he saw Rose again.

"Absolutely brilliant. Per usual." He replied like he was the luckiest man on earth.

"One big happy family. Now, let me introduce you to my friends." Finally. I was hoping he would introduce us sooner or later.

"Ok." The stranger sounded very interested to meet us.

"This, is my friend Captain Jack Harkness and Miss Rose Tyler." He winked at Her as he said her name. Oh, by the way, I will be referring to Rose Tyler as her now. I will always say Her exactly as I said. Capital H as the first letter. Back to the story.

"I feel so left out. I didn't even get a wink!!" I turned my back until he finally said my name.

"Fine. You always get what you want. Don't you Jack." He winked at me.

"HA ha. You SUCK!!" She replied in that snotty little voice of hers. She had that smirk on her face as well.

" Oh yea. Have you ever been kissed by the Doctor?" He had that look on his face like, "You can't beat me now!!"

"Yes. I have been kissed by the Doctor. It was the most valuable thing. I treasure it every day."

"Damn it. I thought for sure I would beat you there."

"Nope!"

"Alright. Let's not get into this big fight fight. I love you all and that is that." The Doctor Butted in. We both leaned in for a kiss at the exact same time. It's a shame he has two hearts. He should have two mouths.

"Oi!" She shouted.

"Oi yourself. He is my boyfriend and I have the right to kiss him if I want to!"

"... ..." She didn't know what to say.

"Jack, are you forcing me to choose between you and Her?"

"Yes." He looked like he couldn't make up his mind if he had to choose. Which for me was a good sign.

"I honestly don't know." He replied.

"Ok. Can I just say something?" The handsome stranger asked.

"Go ahead. We've got all the time in the world." The Doctor replied sarcastically.

"Ok. So Jack is either gay or bisexual..."

"Bisexual." I replied sweetly. I didn't know if he was straight or not. So I decided to take my chances and flirt with him.

"And he met Her where?"

"Middle of the London Blitz."

"Ok. She knows the Doctor how?"

"Brilliant and beautiful very first companion." The Doctor stated in a very matter-of-factly tone of voice.

"Ok. Now that we have that established..."

"Who are you?" I asked very curious and eager to find out his name.

"Rory Williams." He replied.

"Good to meet you, handsome." I said in my manliest voice.

"I should warn you though. You picked a bad year. According to my database, we have 5 min. until a bomb explodes right where we are standing. Where is the TARDIS?"

"I believe she landed in one of your many catacombs."

"Ok. How did you get here?"

"We used his vortex manipulator." He said it as though it should be very obvious.

"Can you get us back?"

"3 min."

"Stop wasting time and use that thing!" The Doctor screamed.

"Make a choice!" I replied angrily.

"1 min.!"

"Rose!" He screamed frenetically.

"Wrong answer. Have fun in death!" I pressed down on my vortex manipulator "big friendly button".
