"Love? I know yesterday's call didn't go all that well, but you still need the closure. You don't have to answer this one, but please answer them soon at least," Louis says before closing the bathroom door, leaving me with the ringing phone in my hand, another facetime, this time from Liam, though I assume they're all there.

"Harry! Hey... Sorry about yesterday mate, I just... It hurts seeing you in such strong denial, and you know... Talking about him like that hurts," Liam says, and then Niall appears.

"Hey mate! Sorry we had to go so soon yesterday. How are you doing today?" Niall asks, taking the phone from Liam and sitting on the same couch from yesterday. They've probably gotten a flat together. All five of us lived together until three months ago, the three of them moved out while Louis was in the hospital.

"I'm good today, I started planting the flower garden today and Lou sang to me while I worked on it," I tell him, smiling lightly.

"That's great! You'll have to show me when they start growing," he coughs and takes a deep breath, "Um and... H-how's his healing going?" He asks hesitantly. I can tell he still doesn't believe me, but I light up nonetheless because he's trying, he's talking to me about it and that's what matters. I can convince him.

"He's doing alright, still limping a bit, but he said the doctors told him he'd probably not walk right ever again so it's expected," I tell him, and he nods, eyes watering.

"Right um... I'm glad he's healing," he says with a break in his voice.

"Yeah... How are you doing?" I ask, he bits his lip, avoiding looking at the screen.

"I'm... I'm okay. Do you guys wanna join?" He asks, looking away from me and I assume he's talking to Liam and Zayn.

"Hey H..." Zayn mumbles, coming into view, though he sounds like he'd rather not be there.

"Hi Zayn," I reply.

"Why... I'm sorry, why are you sitting at... home on the floor? I just... There's so much that you could, should, be doing, an-" Zayn starts.

"Zayn, stop," Liam interrupts.

"I'm just saying, the insurance isn't gonna last forever and he can't just keep pretending nothing happened," Zayn says before leaving again.

"We should... We should go, sorry H," Niall tells me, hanging up.

"I'm not pretending anything," I mumble, once again to myself once it was too late to say it to them.
