Liam slides the last box into the back of the truck before turning to me, while I look at the house. It's just a house, no longer a home. For us at least, the family that bought it seemed like they could make it the home it once was.

"You alright?" Liam asks, gently laying a hand on my shoulder, I look at the ground.

"He... He was a part of me Liam. We were engaged, we've been together for four years... And I just... I don't feel like myself, I'm missing what makes me who I am," I reply, and he pulls me into his arms.

"It'll be okay... It'll be okay, I can't promise that, it'll be hard... But he'd want it all, us all, to be okay... We're gonna be okay," he tells me, holding me tighter, and I hug him back, out of tears.

"We ready? Oh..." Zayn says, before joining the group hug, calling Niall to join as well. But not him. Not calling the fifth member of our group to join, because he won't.

After we hug for however long, we all climb into the truck, and my heart silently aches at the sight of the empty seat beside me. At my empty hand that he'd normally hold.

I try to focus on the positive. I'm gonna live with Niall, Liam, and Zayn again. It will all go back to as normal as it can.

But it's not the same as it was.
