Kat's POV
I narrowed my eyes as Smokescreen transformed, putting me on his shoulder before firing at the drone. I pulled out my gun and took aim, the bullets all landing home, but uselessly pinging off the strong Cybertronian metal.
"Why are human blasters so loud?" Smokescreen grumbled.
I heard an almost silent thud behind us and I turned, aiming my gun at the much larger bot.
"Smokescreen!" I snapped as he aimed a small weapon at us.
Blue waves spot through the air and I fired, my bullet cracking the glass of the bot's visor. The waves hit us and Smokescreen was thrown back.
I cried out, my earbuds ringing in agony at the incredibly powerful waves we had been hit with. I flew through the air and tried to focus through the pain. The ground came up fast and I made a sloppy roll, but still landed without breaking anything.
I covered my ears, feeling liquid drip out and I kept my eyes open, watching as a groundbridge appeared and the black bot stepped forward, grabbing Smokescreen.
I stood up, noting that I could not hear anything. I almost fell over, but ignored the weak feeling in my legs as I stumbled to Smokescreen.
The ground shook lightly and I saw a blue blast fly far above me. Behind us, the Autobots ran toward us desperately. I glanced at the enemy boy and Smokescreen, who were mostly through the portal.
The Autobots would never make it.
I ran after him, purposefully dropping the box that could track and watch all of my bugs and cameras.
The groundbridge closed just as I stepped through. I looked around, seeing the interior of a dark ship. I pulled out my magnetic gloves and grabbed Smokescreen's foot, catching a ride as the enemy bot dragged him somewhere.
I started setting up bugs and cameras on Smokescreen's foot, hoping that the Autobots had enough sense to take the device I dropped and show it to Raf or Fowler.
Soon enough, we entered a room where a silver bot, red bot, and blue bot were waiting.
The black bot threw Smokescreen onto a table and I quickly ducked underneath of him.
My ears made a sudden popping sound and I almost hissed as a few sounds started to bleed through the left ear.
"-wakey-!" Somebot said happily.
Smokescreen started to shift and I had to scoot to the side to avoid being crushed.
"-phase-finders keepers." The bot, which I had identified as the red bot, told Smokescreen.
"Enough-Knockout!" The big silver bot snapped.
I noticed that the blue bot had left, but the black bot was closely watching Smokescreen. I'd have to be careful to avoid him.
"-me-con-relic-" The silver bot demanded, walking closer.
"-help-only one-packing." Smokescreen said, his tone slightly upset.
He was very calm in his enemy headquarters, strapped down to a table... Impressive. I had never been that good at it.
A sinking feeling settled into my stomach and I focused on their conversation again.
"-wrong-Prime-decifer-relics-" Smokescreen said.
"-misunderstand-final-decoded-findings-indeed-guy-question-still-packing?" The silver bot asked. I think.
I sighed. This was absolutely useless. I had no idea what was going on.
Smokescreen hadn't taught me anything about the Autobot protocol and he had been caught aboard their ship. There was no telling if my tracker signals could even get through their shielding or if they only blocked cybertronian signals.
