3RD POV

Tim stands at the railing sobbing as he looks down, Rachel finally comes to and quickly rushes over once she notices. She turns him to her and looks him over "Hey baby, are you OK? Where's your sister? Huh? Tim where is Lexi?" she asks worriedly once she realizes that Lexi is nowhere near them. Tim continues to sob as he looks over the railing again. Rachel quickly looks down and notices Lexi laid out on the ground below and wails "No, Lexi!" She grabs Tim and rushes down the stairs as quickly as she could. Once they reach the bottom, Rachel runs over and kneels by Lexi, crying as she grabs her and turns her over as gently as she could. "Oh baby" she whimpers brushing the hair out of Lexi's face. Tim stands behind his mother, he then notices some movement in the corner of his eye and turns to his side to see something unexpected. "Mom" he whispered bringing her attention from Lexi over to him, he points over and Rachel follows. Her eyes widen as she watched the beast slowly begin to return back to human form.

Varek, now cured by Tim's blood, returns back to his human form and looks around him confused. "Caleb" he hears to his right and turns to see his wife, holding a teenage girl in her arms, and a small boy standing behind her. He goes to say something but is interrupted by the sound of soft coughing. Everyone looks down at Lexi, as she begins to groan Tim rushes to her side as her eyes begin to flutter open "Mom" she sighs out softly. Rachel lets out a tearful chuckle as she pulls Lexi into a hug careful not to hurt her. Once pulling back, Lexi begins to look around noticing that they are still in the factory. She turns to her right and notices a very human Varek sitting up and watching the family. Her breath shutters as she stares the man down, finally she musters up the courage to whisper "Dad". The man looks at her and gives her a tearful smile, prompting her to give one back as finally, the nightmare that they had been forced to live came to an end and despite the losses that they face they also gained something that had been missing for years.

A few months later

In a motel lobby, a hand reaches out and begins ringing the bell in order to receive some service. The bell continues to be rung until an older lanky gentleman approaches the front desk, staring at someone in front of him "Can I help you?" he asks. In front of him, Rachel, Lexi, Tim, and Caleb stand impatiently. Rachel leaning against the counter while the siblings stand next to their father. Tim snacking on a lollipop, while Lexi enjoys some candy peach rings. Rachel gives the man a blank stare "We'd like a room" Rachel tells the man blankly, behind her Caleb has a hand on each of the siblings shoulders as they look up at him causing him to turn his attention to them "I thought you said we would go somewhere nicer this time around." Lexi complained playfully. Caleb smirked at her ruffling her hair as they all turned their attention back to the front.

Rachel is currently signing the family in before she notices a figure behind them in the reflection of the bell. She quickly pulls out her gun, pointing it to the figure as Caleb pushes him against the window. Once they see that it's just some regular guy in a Halloween costume, Lexi chuckles quietly as her parents share a look "Yeesh, not again." she chuckles. Caleb shares a look with Rachel, "Sorry, my wife's a little jumpy" Caleb apologizes as he releases the man. Rachel puts her gun away "Yeah sorry, it's just one of those nights" she adds turning back to the man at the front desk. He shakily holds out a room key which Lexi takes "Thank you" she tells him as the family casually leave making their way to the room.

Once settled, Rachel began taking blood from Tim and handing placing it on a table where Caleb and Lexi would then begin filling the blood into bullets. A knock on the door captured all their attentions, Caleb pulled out his gun going to open the door. He unlocked the door opening it slightly. Outside another lanky man stood on the other side "I've heard...I'm here to be cured" he explained. After some time he was allowed entry.

So many people sacrificed their lives for my brother, and now we make sure they didn't die in vain. Uncle Jonas was right, after all, he does have the power to end the curse. It's just not going to be as easy as they hoped. The power is in his blood. For some, he is salvation. For the others, their destruction.
