Oliver Wood Catch-Up Preference

You get hurt while he's away from you: Did anyone tell you you'd be afraid of heights and play Quidditch with your boyfriend? No? Well, they should've warned Oliver because when he was out with Fred and George doing Beater practice for the next match against Hufflepuff, you'd decided to try and both get some flying practice in while conquering your fear of heights. You didn't know if it'd work, but you were determined to try and see if you could at least fly your broom normally without worrying about falling to your death from many feet in the air. As you gently hovered higher and higher on the Hogwarts grounds, you smiled to yourself at not being scared shitless the entire time. Oliver would be so happy to hear it! But, just as you started to try and land, a huge gust of wind blew toward you and sent you plummeting to the ground with more speed than you were ready for. The last thing you thought before you hit the ground and saw blackness was, "Oliver wasn't going to like me breaking bones and I hate flying with a passion."

His reaction to you getting hurt: Since Oliver was out practicing Quidditch with Fred and George, he didn't hear that you'd fallen so badly until you were walked past him with your good arm around Harry's shoulder. Harry was the one who'd found you lying on the ground and stayed with you until you regained consciousness and tried to walk on your own; needless to say, you looked like a baby deer who'd just been born. When Oliver saw you, he saw red and followed directly after Harry with very little regard for anything George or Fred were telling him. You heard him start talking with Harry to try and learn what happened, and while you wanted so badly to tell your boyfriend that you were alright, but the wind was gone from your lungs and you didn't want to try and talk to him. So, you decided to grab his hand and squeeze it, getting him to look at you and see that even though you weren't talking, you were alright. He smiled when your eyes met and spent the rest of the day with you as opposed to going to the pitch to go to Quidditch practice with the Gryffindor team later that evening.

Your favorite Muggle show to watch together: You loved watching mystery shows while you were doing your homework in the Gryffindor common room, and Midsomer Murders was the main one you always watched. Oliver saw you one day watching Chief Inspector Barnaby and Sergeant Troy interrogate a suspect in their most recent crime, which fascinated Oliver to no end probably more than it should. He sat next to you, totally enthralled in the show the same as you and now he watched with you whenever the two of you got the chance to watch it.
