Chapter 5: Love At First Sight

It was Friday, and I was excited to finally have the week be over. My other friends where on a trip, I didn't want to go, Gavin wanted to go, but then when he heard me say I didn't want to go he quickly changed his mind. Its cute, he's been acting shy around me since that one day when I over heard him talking to Joey.

-Flashback-

"Hey Joey, what have you been doing?" Gavin asked Joey. Joey gave him a smirk, as if he knew what was going on. "I know what you want, you never come up to me and ask that question. You want to talk to me about something? Am I right?" "Yes, as usual" Gavin sighed. "So what is it? What do you want to tell me?" Joey asked, Gavin hesitated, but then spoke "I...I th..think I like Jaz...Jazzilyn..." I gasped as those words came out of his mouth. "Jazzilyn? She's mine you can't have her, I called dibs!" Joey spatted. "Well, I'm sorry, but I love her." I blushed so hard, and kept listening. Gavin looked over at me, and blushed, he quickly walked in the other direction. "What's your problem? Where are you going?" Joey shouted after him. I turned around and walked away, blushing still.

-Flashback End-

I was thinking about it when Gavin walked up to me. "Hey Jazzilyn, I was wondering if you wanted to go to the movies, and then maybe dinner with-" he hesitated just a moment but then continued, "with me" he finished as he blushed. I filled with excitement and shook a little. My face was smiling so bad, I blushed so hard "I'd love to go with you Gavin!!!" I exclaimed, as I hugged him tightly. He hugged me back, nestling his head into my shoulder. I love you to, Gavin, I thought to myself.

It was Saturday night, and I was getting ready to go on my date with Gavin, I'm pretty sure that's what it was. We where seeing FIOS(Fault In Our Stars), I've always wanted to see that movie, I love romantic movies. I was trying to figure out what to wear, I can't wear what I wore to the the party cause he'll think that's the only nice dress I have. I searched and searched, and finally I found and cute dress. It was black and strapless, I found a pair of golden sandals to wear with it. I got dressed and headed to Gavin's house. I knocked on his door, and his mom opened it, "hey Jazzilyn, are you here for Gavin? He's up in his room, getting ready. By the way, you look very pretty" his mom said to me as I walked in. "Thx Mrs. Layne" I answered back. "you can have a seat, here" she pointed to her couch, "he'll be right down, I'll let him know your here" she said as she went upstairs. I sat there, kind of nervous. I thought about how cute he's going to look in his outfit. I giggled. I heard whispering coming from the stairs, so I stood up. Gavin's mom came down first, she stood at the bottom of the stairs, trying to coax Gavin down. He's just as nervous as I am. He finally came down, his head was down, but I could still tell he was blushing. I was blushing too, he was so cute, I just wanted to hug him. He looked up at me as he reached the bottom of the stairs, his eyes widened, and then he kind of drooled and he stared at me. I blushed even harder, he came up to me and said "oh my gosh, you are absolutely beautiful, I can't believe how pretty you are." My face was as red as a tomato, I smiled shyly at him. I look at his mom and she's smiling brightly. Gavin quickly takes my hand, reminded that we have a movie to see. We got into his car and drove to the movies. The movie ended and I was crying, "that movie was so sad, especially at the end" I sobbed. Gavin put his arm around me to comfort me, I smiled at him. "Let's go to dinner, is Chili's ok?" He asked, "sure, I love Chili's" I replied back. He held my hand as we walked into the restaurant. We got sat at a a booth, and we sat across from each other, we ordered our drinks and started to look on the menu. "Jazzilyn, I need to confess something" Gavin said shyly, "I l..lo....love you, Jazzilyn," my heart skipped a beat. I reached over and squeezed his hand, "I love you to, Gavin, I have for a long time" I beamed. He raised my hand up to his lips and kissed it, I blushed and giggled. We received our food and talked all evening, we walked out of Chili's holding hands and drove back to his house. He walked me up to my door, and he leaned me against the wall, staring in my eyes, one hand bracing himself on the wall, the other hand, around my waist, pulling my body closer to his. He just kept staring into my eyes, with this fierce stare, then, he leaned closer, his lips centimeters away from mine, and he kissed me....
