Chapter 11: Avoidimg Gavin

It was back to school, it was Monday morning, and I was heading out the door. All my friends were there, including..........Gavin, Joey ran up to me and kissed me on the cheek. Gavin came up to me, spitting out words like "I'm sorry" and "please talk to me." I just ignored him, and Joey gave him and evil glare and grabbed my hand. He tried to grab me as I started walking to school, and Joey slapped his hand away "Jazzi-chan isn't talking to you anymore, you hurt her, and so she doesn't like you anymore" Joey said as he was still giving Gavin an evil glare. Summer had a smirk on her face as she saw me ignore him, I don't understand why, wouldn't she have been trying to defend him if she loved him? I don't know and I don't care, as far as I'm sure, neither of them are my friends. We walked into class, and Kay poked my side and gave me that ugly grin of hers, I gave her a slight smile and went to my seat. "Sooooo, I heard that you two are dating now?" Riley asked as me and Joey walk up to her holding hands. I blush a little and nod in reply, we sit down for class, and we r taking notes. Great.

While waking to band, I grumbled 'great Gavin's in my class and in the percussion section, he's bound to talk to me' I think as I walk into the big room, full of chattering students. I put my stuff down and go take my seat, Gavin begins to speak, but I hold my hand up to tell him to not speak. He just looks at me with sadness in his eyes, and turns away, beating with his sticks. The whole class period is painful, it hurts me to shun him, but he deserves it. Why could he do such a thing to me, after all we have done together. I think about how awesome it was with Gavin by my side, he was much more seductive and romantic than Joey, tears start to pool up in my eyes. No, I can't cry. Not in front of him, but it was to hard and I just let them come. Gavin looks at me with concern and tries to rub my back, but I slap his hand away and yell at him, not caring if the whole school heard me "WHY GAVIN?!?!? WHY WOULD YOU HURT ME SO BAD?!?!?!?!" "I-" "SHUT UP" I interrupt him before he could tell me something I didn't care to hear. Then the bell rings, and I run and grab my stuff and hurry out of the class crying. I walk into the locker room slowly, and just sit on the bench near my locker, Riley comes in and sees me there, she quickly runs to my side. "Jazzi-chan? Are you ok?" She asks me worriedly, I sniffle "I'm fine, I just let my thoughts get to me is all" "maybe you should give him a chance to explain, you don't even know if summer forced him too or not" Riley ponders "oh he was the one who kissed me, I didn't do anything" Summer said as she walked over to us. I just lowered my my head, she walked away to her locker and I began to cry. "You know, she could just be lying to make you feel bad" Riley reassured me "maybe" I said.

It was the end of the day and I was walking home with Joey. Gavin ran up behind us and grabbed my arm yanking me back towards him, when I finally caught my balance, I opened my eyes to find that our faces were very close together. I just stared into his eyes, those eyes were like a black hole, you could get lost in them very easily. Joey was agitated "let go of my girlfriend" Joey squeeked, it made me come back to reality and I pushed Gavin away from me. He looked at me with sad eyes, and it made me cry, I ran to my house, hearing Joey call my name, but I just kept running. I couldn't stand it anymore, I just sat crying in my room. I heard a knock on the front door, and heard my mom yelling up to me saying it was Gavin. She obviously let him in and I cringed, I heard him come upstairs and knock on my door. I slowly opened the door and didn't even look at him, he just plainly said "we need to talk."
