Now that the written exam was finished, it was time to move on to the physical exam.
Midoriya decided he needed to stay with Mineta to make sure there was no way a creep like that got to be a hero. After seeing him try to grope five different girls in the span of three hours, he was sure it would only get worse if he got into UA.
Mineta got to a training ground and looked around at the other contestants. Midoriya was focusing on him until he say a nervous girl. She looked like she was on the brink of having a panic attack.
'Damn me being such a good person.' Midoriya thought, waking over to the girl. He came up to the girl, still very invisible, and tapped her shoulder. This might not have been the best idea, because he was invisible and she was nervous. She screamed, if you didn't get it.
She whipped her hair around wildly, looking for the source of the random hand she felt on her shoulder. Only, she couldn't find anyone.
"I'm invisible. It's my quirk." Midoriya said, quick to change the pitch of his voice in case she got into UA and recognized his voice.
"Oh, um, okay? Was there something you needed?" The girls said her eyes becoming even bigger, if that was even possible.
"Well, yeah. It's just, you seemed a little nervous?" Midoriya said, glad the girls couldn't see him.
'Fuck, I'm so awkward. How am I supposed to help her be like, not nervous? I'm nervous now!" Midoriya sighed.
"Well yeah, it a big test. It determines if I get into my dream school!" The girl said, making herself even more nervous.
"Oh yeah. I forgot about that honestly."
"How can you just forget?! You're about to take, like, the biggest test of your life!" The girl said, waving her arms in emphasis.
"It helps I guess. It's like, I don't know, just forget your taking a test and just do it for fun? It's always worked, pretending, y'know?" Midoriya questioned how he ever passed anything with his mindset, but that's what had always worked, so maybe it would help the nervous girl?
"I guess that makes sense... I just don't know if I'll get in and it's killing me!" The girl sighed.
"What's your quirk?" Midoriya asked, already knowing there's no way she didn't have a quirk if she came to the exam having no muscles.
"Zero Gravity. I can basically make things have no gravity. It's pretty self-explanatory."
"Really? You can do a lot with a quirk like that. I think you'll do just fine. You don't need to worry to much, just do your best and I'm sure you'll get in. And if you every need help, I'll come and help, okay?" Midoriya was just trying to calm down this random girl, but he honestly did like her quirk.
The girl flushed at all the complements about her quirk. At least she didn't seem ad nervous about the test. The girl opened her mouth to reply, but was cut off as a loud voice came over the speaker.
"GOOOOOO!!" A very loud Present Mic yelled. Everyone stood confused.
"C'mon!" Midoriya said, pushing the girl he was talking to toward the now open gate.
She took off running into the arena. People looked at her in confusion, again.
"THERES NO COUNTDOWN IN A BATTLE!! BETTER START RUNNING!!!" Present Mic yelled through the speaker again. The many people that hadn't started running to the arena erupted in shouts before going off through the gates.
Midoriya spent most of the time making sure Minetas balls didn't hit any other the robots. He grabbed the balls in mod air to stop them, them fazed through them, letting them fall to the ground.
A shout was heard behind him. He heard that sound before, when he accidently scared that girl. He left Mineta, who hadn't been able to obtain any points so far, and ran in the general direction he heard the screams from.
When he arrived he saw the girl trapped under chunks of debris. Everyone was running the opposite way, leaving the girl to try to get out by herself.
Midoriya heard the ground rumble. He looked up and saw a huge robot, coming extremely close to the trapped girl.
'Fuck! Why do I have to have morals?!' Midoriya thought, running to the girl.
"Hey! Hey, I'm here. Where are you stuck?" Midroiya asked, assessing the situation as fast as he could with a robot about to crush this girl.
"My foot! I can't reach it!" The girl screamed, waving her hand wildly behind her, trying to reach a rock to lift.
Midoriya fazed his hands into the rocks. When his hand as about in the middle, he made them solid, breaking the rocks. He continued to put his hands in and solidify them until the girl was freed.
She tried to stand up but again fell. The robot was getting dangerously close now.
'Dammit! Fuck! Hurry up!' Midroiya throught, scrambling over to the girl. He picked her up bridal style, hyped up on as much adrenaline as a ghost can be. He ran as fast as he could, his feet fazing through any stray rubble.
The loud stomps behind him sped him up, his legs pushing with a strength he never had before.
'Another side effect of being dead? Do ghosts have super strength or something? This isn't the time!' Midoriya shook himself out of his thoughts. The robot was farther now.
"TIMES UPPPPP!!!!" Present Mic yelled. The robot stopped, footsteps falling silent. Midoriya slowed down to a jog.
"Are you okay? Your ankle?" Midoriya questioned, planning on taking the girl to the nurse no matter what she replied.
"I don't know, bit it hurts a lot and I don't think I can walk on it. Thank you for saving me back there." The girl said, sighing in relief.
"Alright, I'll take you to the nurse so you can get checked." Midoriya said, arriving at the gate. An old lady was there, ready for any injured students. She took one look at the girl and started cursing "that damned principle".
Midoriya dropped the girl off at the nurse lady to be healed. He still had one more thing to do before he left and he needed to do it where it would cause them most panic.
He went beside a wall right next to a wall where most of the students were resting and hanging out. He took the spray cans out of this backpack and started working.
He was noticed almost immediately. People started questioning at first. Then there were shouts and called for teachers. By the time the teachers got there, he was long gone.
He had so many plans for this school year. So many new people to terrorize.
