"Aiko?" he said, completely surprised to see her outside of his hotel room.
"Hi, Justin." she said. What was this all about? Was she still mad at him?
"What are you doing here?" he asked.
"Listen, I'm sorry, okay? I'm sorry for leaving the room and staying with Connor. I just needed a few days away from you. But, I'm ready to come back and we can try this again."
He didn't know how to feel. "Aiko, you shouldn't apologize for leaving. I should apologize for acting a bit stubborn. I should really be more considerate, especially towards you since you're having depression."
She smiled. He finally learned that he was acting stubborn. Hopefully, the same mistake won't happen again.
"Come here." she said, opening her arms. They hugged it out and he opened the door. Finally, he got Aiko back. Hopefully, this was the end of the drama.
They sat on the bed, having a casual conversation.
"So, what did you do since I left?" she asked.
"A lot, actually." he admitted. She raised an eyebrow.
"What do you mean a lot?"
"First things first: I had some serious, hardcore sex with my Arabian friend, Abia."She chuckled. "You mean that girl that was simping for me at the airport?"
"Y-Yeah. Her. She actually said that she wanted to meet you if we ever make amends, which we did."
She smiled. She never thought she'd be sexualized by an Arabian girl. Heck, the closest girl she could think of was Beli, who was Indian.
"What else happened?" she asked, suddenly interested.
"I also apologized to Sarah for being a dick towards her."
Aiko didn't know how to feel about this one. She thought he absolutely hated her.
"Why?" she asked.
"Well, because I may have been a bit harsh towards her. Yeah, she's annoying, doesn't take showers that much, and even said you weren't Japanese. But, after what happened, she fixed one problem, being her showering every day. I was just an ass towards her and feel like I should've been nicer."
She nodded. Though, she was still mad at her for being the way she was that day.
"I guess I understand. And maybe, I shouldn't have cussed her out in Japanese."
"Yeah, I agree. What did you even say to her?"
"I said she was a skank and I was speaking the language right now."
She called her a skank? That's probably the least offensive thing to say to her.
"Well, alright. But look, I invited her to our Thanksgiving dinner. What Nora said was right: She still has her innocent mindset and isn't corrupted by society and politics."
Aiko understood. She knew how he felt about politics, since the feeling was mutual. All those politicians just sounded like a bunch of douchebags to her.
"Speaking of Thanksgiving: I visited my friend Polly and she's going to prepare most of the dinner."
"Oh really? That's cool. I bet she's a good cook."
"She's more than that, Aiko. She's the best cook. I just hope she makes green bean casserole, ham, and mashed potatoes at least. That Salisbury steak she made was delicious."
This was all interesting to Aiko. It's amazing how much can happen within a couple of days.
"Is that it?" she asked, still wondering.
"No, there's one thing I did, at it was a good deed: I fixed Tiffany and Jessie's relationship."
She gasped. It didn't seem possible after they cut ties.
"H-How did you do it?" she asked.
"It wasn't easy, but I went to Tiffany after talking with her mom and told her that she was depressed because of her. Took a bit of convincing, but her and Tiffany are on good terms right now. Though, the bridge isn't completely rebuilt yet. I'm trying to convince Jessie to quit smoking, since Tiffany can't stand the smell and neither can I."
"You know, Justin? You're not such a bad guy if you were able to repair their relationship. Tiffany has told me about her mom several times and I just nod, pretending to understand. Though, me and Jessie are actually good friends and get drinks every weekend."
"I knew that, Aiko. I'm just glad I could help, since I knew Jessie's pain when it came to that sort of thing. This will be the first Thanksgiving in a while they had together."
This was all good news for Aiko. Maybe, Justin wasn't a douche after all.
"So, how was Connor?" he asked.
"You mean Dollar Store Eminem? Ha! Yeah, I didn't like him. He kept rapping a bunch of terrible love songs and simping for me. He also kept bitching about his pizza delivery job and fantasized about beating Darius Cochrane in a rap battle."
"Figures." he said, not surprised by this.
"I'm glad you aren't like that. I don't even see why you're friends with him."
"It's because he's loyal and doesn't backstab anybody. Sometimes, the annoying people are the best if you give them a fair chance."
She nodded. He was probably right.
"Well, I'm tired. You wanna cuddle again tonight?" she asked.
"Sure, why not. I'm a bit weak though after that sex I had with Abia."
"It's okay, I'm not too horny so it wouldn't matter."
They crawled into bed and cuddled. Things finally started to look up in his life. Thanksgiving was in a couple of days. Hopefully, it all works out.
