Hi, Brooke

Justin and Aiko made their way to the Surf Shack to get some drinks. This was the first step into a deep relaxation: some nice alcoholic beverages.

Of course, Audrey was already there and she found her loving aunt, Brooke Belrose. As much as Justin didn't care for her, he greeted her like a loyal gentleman would.

"Hi, Brooke." he said.

"Well, look who it is! If it isn't the big playboy himself, Justin Dark. It's been a while, hasn't it?"

"Y-Yeah. It's been a little bit. I see you're still doing a great job running the resort."

"Ehh... I wouldn't say great. But, I'm doing what I can."

Audrey butted in. She just had to say something.

"Aunt Brooke? What are you doing talking to this guy? You know he's a depressed lump of shit."

Justin frowned. Aiko didn't know what to think. Was she being mean or just messing around? It was pretty hard to tell.

"Audrey, dear. Do be nice to him. Depressed or not, he's made me feel ten years younger before."

Justin grinned. He thought of a comeback to Audrey's insult.

"Yeah, and don't forget that you lost your virginity to this depressed lump of shit."

Aiko and Brooke both chuckled. Audrey felt embarrassed.

"Y-Yeah. Whatever. I was only joking."

"Sure you were, Audrey. Now, do be a dear and go run along. I want to get to know this lovely lady he's with." Brooke said, peaking interest in Aiko. She ran off and left the three of them to talk.

"So, Justin? Who's this girl you've brought along? She looks pretty attractive."

"This is Aiko. She's been living with me for a little bit. I'm trying to help her get through some personal issues, you know?"

"A pleasure to meet you, Aiko. I'm Brooke Belrose."

"Nice to meet you, Brooke. I kind of know you already. I teach your niece at Glenberry. She's kind of rough to deal with but she's making it, though by a string."

"Yes, Audrey can be a bit of a handful. But, then again, so can I at times. That's probably why her uncle decided to marry me."

Justin decided to finally order some drinks. He ordered a couple of Sakes for Aiko and ordered just a whiskey for himself. He wasn't really much of a drinker.

Brooke joined them in having a few drinks. She figured it wouldn't hurt too much. They began to talk.

"So, Aiko? You wouldn't so happen to be of Asian descent, would you?"

"Yeah. How could you tell?" she replied sarcastically.

"I don't know. It's just something about your beauty that gives it away. But, I must warn you about someone that works for me. She's kind of a Japanophile, to put it lightly."

Justin facepalmed. He knew who she was talking about.

"Are you talking about Sarah?"

"Yes, unfortunately. I don't know how she'll react to meeting a Japanese woman. I mean, she overreacted when she met Lailani, assuming she was some kind of Asian girl. She's not even Japanese, she's Polynesian. I'd keep an eye on her, if I were you. I do that enough already as it is. It's become very tiring within the passed few months."

"Yeah. I'm just dreading whenever we cross paths again. If she wasn't such an annoying weeb and took showers regularly, I could easily deal with her."

Brooke looked at her expensive watch. She had to get back to the hotel.

"Well, I should really get going. I've got to check on Lailani and the other hotel staff. But, I assume I'll be seeing you later?"

"Of course, Brooke. I plan on staying here at least until Thanksgiving."

"Oh good. So was I. I'm glad you brought Audrey along then. I really don't want to see my husband for Thanksgiving. He's kind of a pig at times."

"Alright. See you around, Brooke."

They all left the Surf Shack. It was now night time. For the first night, everyone decided to just stay in bed and get some rest. Tomorrow morning would be the start of a more eventful day.
