The day finally came. It was time to leave Inna De Poona and head back to the city. Justin spent the last day packing his bags, along with texting everyone to meet him at the airport before he left.
He took one last look at the hotel room. It almost felt like some memories were created here, both good and bad. This is where Aiko left him, where Lailani had a dream with him, and where him and Candace did the dirty.
"I had a good time here." he said to himself. He took one good look and headed out the door. He met Tiffany, Audrey, Connor, Ashley, and Lilian in the lobby where they had to give their keycards to Lailani.
He looked at her and she knew having to leave was sad. But, all good things must come to an end.
"I hope you had a good time here, Justin." she said to him.
"Maybe not good, but bittersweet." he responded.
She looked at him, feeling tears coming out. She walked out from behind the desk and hugged him.
"I'm going to miss you, Justin. Please come back whenever you get the chance."
He hugged her tight. Having to leave the island was sad. He was leaving some of the best people behind. Brooke and Sarah came in to say their goodbyes.
"Well, Mr. Dark. It's been a pleasure seeing you again." Brooke said.
"Yeah, it was nice seeing you too. Glad I brought Audrey along so she could see you as well."
"Please come again. It's always nice to see your face around here."
He nodded. This wouldn't be the last time he'd come to Inna De Poona. He looked at Sarah, who looked upset that he was leaving.
"It's okay, Suki. I'll be back one day." he said, trying to comfort the weeb.
"Y-Yeah. I know. Will you at least text me sometime?" she asked.
"Sure."
She ran up to him and gave him a hug. Usually, he'd object to this but it seemed like she was still showering more than twice a week. He hugged her too.
"Sayonara, Justin!" she said. However, the cringe wasn't there.
"Sayonara, Suki." he responded, not feeling cringe.
"Um, Bro?" Connor interrupted. "Can we move this along? Our flight leaves in an hour."
"Sure, Connor. Well, I'll keep in touch. Lailani, I love you. Hope we can see each other again some time."
She blushed. "Bye, Justin. Have a safe flight."
They walked away and headed to the airport. Everyone was gathered outside to say their goodbyes, except for Zoey, who was still missing.
"I hope to see you again soon!" Abia said.
"We will, Abia. And I'm sorry you never got a chance to meet Aiko."
"Don't worry about it. I found some nice... p-porn of her on the internet." she said in a lustful manner. Of course she would.
"Well, I'll see you on TeleYube, JD!" Polly said.
"Thanks, Polly. Take care of yourself. Try to find a nice man to be your husband, okay?"She blushed. He was such a gentleman.
"Can I have some money before ya leave?" Candace said. Damn it, Candy. What did he tell you? But, he had a couple of extra dollars left.
"Here, Candace." he said, handing her a $20 bill.
"Thank you, Sweetheart!" she said.
He nodded. Seemed like everyone had a chance to say goodbye. It was still weird how Zoey was still nowhere to be found. Nora was still in the city spending time with Kyanna and her family.
Justin, Connor, Tiffany, Audrey, Ashley, and Lilian boarded the plane. There was no Lola this time, which made sense. She wasn't the only flight attendant out there.
He sat in the plane, thinking about Aiko. Tiffany looked at him. She knew what he was thinking about and how it was bothering him.
"Hey, don't worry about her. She's just going through some issues right now." she asurred him.
"Yeah. I just feel guilty for some of it."
She grabbed his hand, trying to comfort him. "It'll be OK."
He knew she was optimistic. Before the plane took off, he texted Aiko to see how she was doing.
"On our way home now. Be there this evening. Hope we can work things out."
She texted him back.
"OK. I should be gone by the time you get back. Still preparing to leave."
This was still heartbreaking. But, she had every right to be upset. When he gets home, he was going to wind down and pick up Momo from Vinnie's house. She probably missed him. Although the vacation had it's ups and downs, it was still bittersweet. The sweet almost out-weighed the bitter. But, it was time to go home and start a new series in his life. A series about learning to tolerate the events beyond his control.
