(This chapter is the past)
Lee Dal, he was third generation member of the Bangtan community.
His grandfather was a very talented physician, that's how he became in young age the private physician of Jungkook's great grandfather and after of Jungkook's grandfather.
Lee Dal's father, Lee Sungho followed in his fathers footsteps and became a physician too. He was responsible exclusively for the care of Jeon Seoyoon (Jungkook's father) and his three closest friends.
With time passing Sungho witnessed things that he couldn't explain or speak about to anyone. He witnessed Mr Jeon's friends drinking his blood, because he was the one to draw the blood from Mr Jeon and pouring it evenly in three glasses. He witnessed eyes turning into a black void after consuming the blood. To say it didn't scare him would be a lie.
The four friends weren't more evil then other people, who wanted to ensure staying rich and in power. They were business men, who did what needed to be done, to keep their riches.
Lee Sungho didn't want his son Lee Dal to follow in his footsteps. He wanted his son far away from this place. That's why his son Dal studied infectious diseases and worked in a research laboratory, near Busan.
On one of those days that the three friends had to drink Mr Jeon's blood, Sungho took the syringe home, still containing a little bit blood. Arriving at home he went to his office and at his desk he found a little flask, containing strange luminous liquid. He asked his wife for any visitors, but she said no one came by.
Sungho handed the syringe and the flask over to his son. Dal, who became father just two months ago, was in the laboratory looking at blood, from the syringe, under the microscope but there was nothing strange or special about it. He then added one drop of the luminous liquid and the blood cells turned black. The cells didn't die, they just kind of mutated into a black that seemed to swallow all the light.
Giving one drop of the luminous liquid to his own blood and all the cells died in an instant.
Moving around the little glass plates with the probes, one drop of his own blood fell onto the first probe. Putting it back under the microscope, his eyes widened. His blood cells merged with the black cells and the whole mixture started to glow. A black mass separated itself from the cells, like some kind of smoke, went up in the air and vanished. Stunned about the discovery he called his father, only to hear him crying and apologizing, saying they found out he took the syringe, then gunshots and the line disconnected.
Complete in panic, Dal called his wife but someone else picked up the phone. It was a police officer, saying his wife and his baby daughter were involved in a terrible car accident. His wife died on the spot and his daughter was brought to the Royal Children Hospital in Busan, she was in very critical condition.
He took the syringe with still containing few drops of Jeon's blood, he drew the remaining luminous liquid in it and ran out to drive to the hospital. Thinking to inject his daughter with it, it might save her, at least he has to try. It took him almost an hour to get there.
Looking at the lifeless body of his baby, not even able to recognize her, he screamed and cried. The doctors apologized and explained that there was nothing they could've done to save her, she died instantly after being brought in.
Dal was devastated, he lost everything nothing left to live for. Only the hatred towards Bangtan kept him from not killing himself right there. He knew soon they will arrive in the hospital too, searching for him.
He was in the elevator crying and thinking what to do with the syringe, he didn't want Bangtan to get their hands on it. That's when the elevator doors opened and in came a kind, brave and innocent little boy (4 year old Jin).
