I sat staring at the sky. It was grey. That bothered me, I had a strange feeling in my gut, saying something bad was about to happen. It was always the same in the glade. It was always sunny, with few clouds and hot. Very hot. But not today. Today it was scary, and mysterious. Windy and cold. I looked around me to see the other gladers staring at the sky too, probably thinking the same thing as me. My eyes caught Sapphire's light blue ones. I gave her a reassuring smile, as she began walking towards me.

Before she could make it back to me, a blood curdling scream rang in my ears. My head snapped to the walls, where griever after griever were pouring out of the maze. "RUN!!HIDE!!!" I screamed at the gladers. Everyone scattered, and amidst the chaos, I lost Sapphire. My love, my priority. I screamed her name, and when I got no response, I was in ran towards where most gladers were, homestead. They were blocking the doors, but I managed to slip inside. Just then, I was squished in a bear hug. "NEWT! " I turned around to see Sapphire with tears in her eyes. "Its okay, I'm right here, love." I soothed her and planted my lips on hers. We were together for a little while, before I saw a greiver above her. "SAPPHIRE!" I desperately screamed at her to move, but it was too late. "NEWT!" Sapphire screamed from the grievers arms. "HELP ME!" I was in shock for a split second, before grabbing a spear and attacking it. "BLOODY BASTARD LET HER GO" I screamed, repeatedly stabbing it with my weapon. It staggered, before falling and the love of my life came falling into my arms. "You saved me," (is this too disney princess?) She looked into my eyes and I responded with a kiss.
