As Alex walked past, I felt my heart flutter. I always did, no matter how hard I would try to distract myself or look away. She was beautiful. Her long, golden blonde hair was in a braid, slung loosely on her shoulder. You could tell she tried to tone down her beauty, but it just made Minho notice her even more. But they were best friends, and Minho didn't want to ruin that.

Minho ran to catch up with her. When he finally found her, she was sitting on a log, alone. "Hey" Minho said, trying to sound more confident then he really was. Seeming to ignore his awkward greeting, Alex replied, looking down: "do you ever wonder?" Minho gave her a puzzled look. "If you have a family, I mean." Minho looked in the distance, thinking about her question. He hadn't. He had always thought it was a waste of his time to wonder: Minho had always thought he should focus on now. She looked up distantly, before continuing. " Sometimes I sit here and just think. Wonder. If I have a family. And then I wonder, do they love me? Or miss me?" The thought of anyone not falling head of heals for such a girl made him chuckle. Alex looked up sadly. "Laugh then, " she said seriously. Minho felt bad, he must have sounded like a total jerk. "That's not at all what I meant." Minho said, giving her an awkward side hug. She looked at him. "what did you mean," She said, seeming to catch on a tiny bit. " I thought its just stupid. How could anybody not love you?" Minho said, trying to sound casual. She beamed, making him smile too. Then she did something that surprised Minho. She leaned in and brought her soft lips to his. He relaxed into the kiss, and brought his hands to the back of her head. When she pulled away, Minho was disappointed. "Will you be my girlfriend?" he asked her, suddenly filled with confidence. " Yes, stupid" she replied. He smiled, and gave her a playful push. " You are so mean to me, Alex." he said, plastering on a baby face. She laughed, before leaning in an kissing him again.
