Stuck In A Moment

FEW DAYS LATER

It's been a few days now, Scarlett and Y/N's doing good.

Well, it's still like walking on eggshells around each other. But it's better than before and they are taking things slow, especially with gaining Y/N's memories because whenever she tries so hard, she'd get a headache.

Good thing though, Y/N met her best friends.

And it was clear that they didn't like Scarlett at the moment, but Y/N already told them that it's fine and they're working out their relationship. Again.

And really, Scarlett didn't mind that her wife's best friends are mad at her because even her own friends got mad at her for being a dick to her wife. She's doing her best though and they can see that.

Especially Y/N, Scarlett has been helping her with everything. She's there every step of the way and she appreciates it deeply, she knows she married Scarlett for a reason. She knows she loved Scarlett. She just need to work with herself and hopefully, remember those feelings for her wife.

"Hm," Y/N hummed, trying to figure out what this unfinished painting is supposed to be. "I don't know what to do with you..."

There was a knock before the door opened.

"Hey." Scarlett walked in.

Y/N turned around and smiles, "Hey."

"Your parents are here. They want you to spend some time at their house." Scarlett said, smiling a little.

"Oh, really? Well, are you coming along?" Y/N asked.

Scarlett shook her head, "No. I'm gonna be busy with work, but I promise I'll come and visit you. Besides, your cousin is getting married remember? So it'll be best if you spend some time with them."

Y/N nodded her head, "Okay."

FEW HOURS LATER

Y/N looked around her old room, "Even here, it's full of our pictures." She said, smiling when she saw a picture of her and Scarlett, but they were younger.

Scarlett drove her here and it kind of saddened her that the green eyed woman didn't stayed a little longer.

Y/N's getting used to Scarlett's presence and she likes the feeling.

"Did Scarlett told you how you two first met?"

Y/N turned around and saw her mom, "Yeah, she did. But not entirely, she just told me that I talked to her first, that's it."

"Why?" Y/M/N asked.

"She said she wanted to me remember how we met." Y/N answered, smiling a little.

Y/M/N nodded her head, smiling. "I hope you do, sweetheart. It's the cutest thing ever." She said and hugged her daughter, "I'm sure you will remember everything again."

"I hope so, mom." Y/N whispered, "I hope so."

"Now, come on. Dinner's ready." Y/M/N said and smiles.

— after having dinner with her parents, Y/N went back to her bedroom and took a shower.

She sighed as soon as the warm water hit her skin, she tilted her head and closes her eyes. Scarlett mentioned that she loved showers, the green eyed actress even said that she would listen to music and get lost in them and sometimes Scarlett would have to come and tell her to get out of the shower. She thought it was cute.

"Music." Y/N mumbled, remembering the movie she watched the other day.

Sing 2, and she absolutely loved Scarlett's singing voice.

"Alexa, play Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of by Scarlett Johansson." She said and smiled as soon as the melody and Scarlett's voice greeted her ears.

Y/N can feel her heart beating fast, she's getting lost with Scarlett's soothing voice.

How I wish I can just get out of this moment and remember everything. Y/N thought and sighed.

After listening some more, Y/N finished her shower and dried herself, she walked out of the bathroom and grabbed the bag that Scarlett prepared for her. She'll be staying with her parents for a week, then she'll come back home to Scarlett after her cousin's wedding.

Y/N opened the bag and frowned, this is not her stuff. It's just bunch of papers.

She sighed and grabbed her phone, calling Scarlett.

Three rings and Scarlett answered.

"Y/N? Everything okay?" Scarlett asked as soon as she answered the call.

"I'm okay, um, I think you grabbed the wrong bag? This one is not mine, it's just papers and no clothes or my stuff." Y/N said.

"Ah, shit." Scarlett sighed. "I'm so sorry, I was not in my right mind earlier."

Y/N sat down, "Why? You wanna talk about it? I'm here to listen." She said.

"I know you are," Scarlett said. "We can talk about it some other time, I'm just... I missed you."

"Oh, but I just left." Y/N said with a small smile.

"No, I know." Scarlett said and chuckled weakly, "I mean, I missed us. Everything about us."

"I'm so sorry, Scarlett. I wish I can just remember everything, I know I'm hurting you. I know this is not easy for you, I'm sorry." Y/N said and sighed.

"No, please, my love. Don't apologize, it's not your fault, if anything, it's mine. If we didn't argue that day, then—"

Y/N interrupted Scarlett, "Hey. I told you, it's in the past, okay? We're trying again. We're both at fault, so please, don't beat yourself."

Scarlett sniffles, "I'm scared."

"With what?" Y/N asked.

"That once you remember everything, you'll leave me. You'll remember that you hate me and that you don't love me anymore." Scarlett said.

"I married you for a reason, Scarlett. And the fact that I didn't divorced you even though we were falling apart, is enough for me to stay. We fought for our relationship and it wasn't healthy, but we're gonna do it differently this time, okay? We should communicate better. I want to remember Scarlett, I want to remember everything about you. About us." Y/N said, "We made our vow, I vowed to understand you more and deeply, right? And you vowed to face whatever obstacles that may come to us, hand in hand?"

Y/N watched their wedding video, and she vowed to never forget it.

"Yeah, through thick and thin." Scarlett said.

Y/N smiles, "Exactly. Now, go and get some rest. Don't mind bringing my stuff, I have some here, I think. I'll see you in two days? Aunt's gonna throw a party for my cousin, you'll come, right?"

"Of course, I'll be there. I'll see you in two days, my love. Good night." Scarlett said.

Y/N smiles, "Good night, Scarlett."
