TWO WEEKS LATER
Y/N took a deep breath, smiling.
"Perfect." She said to herself, looking around her new house.
She's been recovering for the past two weeks, both physically and mentally. She's also back with her modeling career and she should have her first photoshoot two days from now.
Everything is going well for her, but something is still missing in her life.
Ding dong
Y/N turned around and raised an eyebrow, she's not expecting any company. Her friends are all busy with their own schedules.
She shrugged and went to answer the door.
"Sweetheart!"
Y/N smiles and hugged her mother. "Mom."
Y/M/N smiles and patted her daughter's back before they pulled away. "Of course we have to see your new house!"
Y/N chuckled, then she looked at her father. She hasn't spoken to him ever since she found out what he did, she missed him though. Of course, she loves her father.
"Hey, dad." Y/N greeted, smiling.
"Hey, my princess." Y/F/N greeted back, he looks like he's about to cry. He missed his little girl, Y/N is an only child and throughout her life, he did nothing but protected her. He was too blinded to think that he might hurt his daughter because of it.
Y/N smiles, "Come in."
Her parents came in, looking around.
"It's beautiful, sweetheart." Y/M/N said, smiling. "Have you eaten?" She asked her daughter.
"Not yet, mom. I was trying to settle in." Y/N said, "I was too occupied."
"Okay, why don't you two talk while I cook you some food?" Y/M/N said, smiling.
"Sure, thank you mom." Y/N said. She looked at her father, "Let's go to the living room, dad." She said.
Y/F/N nodded his head and followed behind his daughter.
"Sit down, dad." Y/N said, smiling a little.
Y/F/N sat down, he saw an envelope neatly placed on the coffee table. "Is that... is that the divorce paper?" He asked as he looked at Y/N.
Y/N sighed and nodded her head. "Yeah."
"Did you sign it?" Y/F/N asked, frowning.
Y/N shook her head, "No, I haven't even open it yet." She said.
Y/F/N sighed deeply, shaking his head, "I'm sorry." He said. "I know I was wrong, I get it now. I thought I was protecting you, but I just ended up breaking your heart. And that's the last thing I want for you, Y/N. I'm really sorry."
"I know, dad. You were just doing what you think was best for me and Scarlett just did the same." Y/N said, smiling sadly.
"I'm really sorry, sweetheart." Y/F/N apologized again, sighing. "Tell me what I can do to make it up, tell me. Anything. I don't wanna lose you, you're my daughter."
"You won't, dad. I forgive you." Y/N said and hugged her father.
A moment of impact.
A moment of impact whose potential for change has far-reaching consequences, sending some particles crashing together, bringing them closer than before, while sending others spinning off into great adventures, landing in places you never expected to find them.
That's the thing about these kinds of moments. You can't control how they'll affect you, no matter how hard you try. All you have to do is let the colliding particles land wherever they may and wait for the next collision.
"So," Y/F/N smiles as they pulled away from the hug. "What's next for you?" He asked.
Y/N smiles and took a deep breath, "I'm gonna get my wife back."
Y/F/N smiles and nodded his head, "Be happy, Y/N. That's all I ever want."
"With Scarlett, I'm always happy." Y/N said, "And I will get my happiness back."
