The Salty Coffee

Guys, basically I have read this story and thought to write in an avneil version. I hope you'll like it and if yes then don't forget to go without voting.

This story is about a girl named Avni and a boy named Neil who were on their first date. They both were little shy to start a conversation. Avni even thought to run back home quickly. Sitting nervously for a few moment, Neil asked the waiter,
"Would you please bring me some salt? I would like to have it in my coffee.

Everyone in the cafe looked at him, very strangely like he was some alien. He became more nervous but still put the salt in his coffee and drank it. Avni who was looking at him confusingly asked,
"Why do you like to have salty coffee"

He cleared his throat and replied'
"Well, when I was a kid, we lived near the sea. I liked playing in the sea, I enjoyed the taste of sea water; just like the taste of salty coffee. It reminds me of my childhood.

While he was answering her a tear dropped of his eyes. She was deeply touched by his story. A man who tells about his heart clearly. He must be a man who knows his responsibility of his home and cares about it. They both continued to date and finally got married one day.

She thought it many times, that she would have almost lost a wonderful man but all thanks to that salty coffee. They lived a happy life together. She daily made him the salty coffee, as she knows that's the way he likes.

After living 40 long years together happily, he passed away leaving a letter for her saying:
"My love, please forgive me. I lied to you my whole life. This is the only lie I ever said to you - The Salty Coffee, remember the first time we met, I was hell nervous at that time and actually I wanted sugar but asked for salt mistakenly. It was very hard for me to change so I just had that salty coffee. I never thought it would be the start of our conversation. I tried to tell you many times but failed miserably as I feared of losing you. But now when I am lying on this death bed, I have nothing to lose. So, telling you I never liked the taste of salty coffee, what a strange taste! Having you was my biggest achievement in my whole life. If I can live the second time, I still want to be with you, even though I had to drink that salty coffee again for my whole life.

Her tears started flowing down from her red cheeks making the letter totally wet.

Now she always drink the salty coffee.
Someday, someone asked her,
"How does this salty coffee tastes."
She smiled sadly
"Very Sweet" she replied.
