The perp was escorted to one of the patrol cars, as the crowd cheered and applauded. As soon as the man was removed from the court,  10 Squad sneaked in from the second exit and greeted Rubio with fist pumps and high fives.

Street was furious! He couldn't believe what Rubio had just pulled. He was called by Hondo for last minute brief, but as soon as he finished, Street made his way to Rubio. He was to the side of the court, just a couple of feet from the side fence, surrounded by his squad who were sharing their experience with their assigned officer. Street swung his automatic riffle to his back, jogged to the kid, and pulled him backwards, making the kid take a step back. He had interrupted their celebration, breaking up the group and making the kids take a step or two back.

"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU!!?" He started, raising his voice to a level he didn't even know he could reach. The kid, with opened eyes, moved slowly backwards scared of the officers' enraged attitude. Every member of 10 Squad was in shock, as they stared at both Street and Rubio. The police soon noticed the commotion. The place went silent as Street continued in high tone, "That's gotta be the stupidest and most dangerous thing I've ever seen anybody do. What makes you think that was smart? To put yourself in harm's way like that...you realize that man had already killed a couple of people and done hard time? He had no problem with slicing the girl's throat, can you imagine what he would've done to you? Where do you get these crazy ideas-"

"STREET!?" yelled Chris, who along with the other SWAT and JR SWAT members had moved closer to the two characters. They had formed the same perimeter as the police had with the suspect, a semi circle.

"NOT now, Chris!" he snapped back. He had never snapped at her like that, not even when he got kicked out of SWAT and he blamed her. To everyone's surprise he continued to yell at the kid, as Commander Hicks came in to the court and made his way to the front of the small crowd.

"Officer Street?!" he called, and was immediately followed by deep silence. The screaming officer had stopped to turn around and face his boss. He removed his glasses, which he had placed on when the arrest happened.

After some seconds, Street lowered his head and began "Commander, I am so sorry about this. He was my responsibility and I-"

He was interrupted by a hushing sound coming from his superior. "Now, if I recall correctly, there was a young recruit who came in late and wearing the wrong uniform his first day of SWAT, after blowing up many red lights in the process of course"- commander began as he adjust his pants, and Street raised his head slowly -"Came in being such a jerk, he didn't care about anybody else. Did, not one, but many stupid and dangerous stunts, even worse than this... He even got himself kicked outta SWAT and had to work and beg his ass off to get back. That ring a bell, officer?"

The young man's jaw dropped to the floor as he looked at his teammates, who in turn were also surprised. "You got kicked outta SWAT?" he whispered to the officer in front of him.

This was totally embarrassing...and called for! Street knew he had made a big mistake calling out the kid for doing exactly what he would've done if he was 14. "Shhh...not the point!" he snapped at the boy, still whispering between closed jaw.

He turned to his commander and nodded apologetically. "Hey kid!"-the commander called, as the kid turned his gaze towards the old man, still with a surprised expression."You got some nice moves, but do me a favor, will ya? Never do that again!"

Rubio nodded and grinned, as Street turned to look straight at him.

"Officer, if yelling and scolding didn't work for you, what makes you think it will for your recruit? Take it easy on the kid" commander stuck a finger out and pointed at the kid -"Got a bright future ahead of you, son. Just...next time, wait til you're old enough for antics... and stay outta trouble. K?"
