Hyunjins POV:

I was with the other members, we were at this boba place we go to a lot. Getting boba, obviously. While we were in line I glanced around, I like this place it's kind of small, but it has a nice interior. And it usually isn't too busy, which is good because there's a lower chance of us getting recognized. While I was looking around, someone caught my eye. Sitting next to one of the windows, alone and scrolling through their phone, was a (wo)man with [color] hair. Huh, they're cute. As I thought that, it was my turn to order. Turning my gaze away from them, I looked at the employee and ordered my drink.

The eight of us sat down in a large booth, Han and I were sat opposite each other on the outside of the booth, next to me was Seungmin, then changbin, Chan, Felix, Lino, Innie, and then it circled back to Han. The others were all talking animatedly with each other, while I kept glancing in the direction of that girl/boy over by the window. I debated going over there and talking to them, 'does (s)he know stray kids? Would (s)he recognize me? And if (s)he did, would (s)he cause a scene?' I thought to myself, (s)he seemed to be a calm person, but looks can be deceiving. Seungmin noticed I was spacing out, and nudged me with his elbow. I looked over at him and raised an eyebrow, silently asking him what he wanted. He looked in the direction I was staring and saw the one I was staring at, he smirked knowingly and nodded in their direction in a 'were you staring at them?' Way. I rolled my eyes and shook my head, he didn't believe me and smirked wider, he gave me a 'suuuuure' look and turned back to the conversation the other members were having. I gave him a quick glare and then looked back at them, 'screw it' I thought to myself, and stood up catching the attention of the others. "Where are you going?" Chan asked me, Seungmin laughed quietly and said "I think I know~" I looked at him and glared "shut up" I said playfully and walked away, Chan looked confused but he started to get it once he saw where I was walking too.

When I got to the table (s)he was sitting at, I tapped the table a couple times to get their attention. (S)he looked up at me questioningly, and I smiled at them. "Hey, mind if I sit here?" I asked them and tilted my head, (s)he looked around as if (s)he wasn't sure if I was talking to them, "uhh sure? Go ahead.." (s)he said nervously, I sat down across from them and set my drink down in front of me. (S)he cleared their throat awkwardly and looked back at their phone, "so, what's your name?" I asked them, setting my head on my hand with my elbow on the table. (S)he looked up at me again but then turned her eyes to the table, "y/n... w-what's yours?" She stuttered slightly and cleared her throat again, (s)he's cute.. "I'm hyunjin, nice to meet you" I said and winked playfully, holding out my hand, (s)he took my hand and shook it "nice to meet you too" (s)he said, smiling a bit. "You have a nice smile" I didn't really mean to say that out loud, but their reaction made me glad I did. (S)he blushed and looked away, laughing awkwardly, "aha you think so?" (S)he started to play with their sleeve, no longer able to look me in the eyes. I nodded and smirked at them, (s)he's even more cute when (s)he's flustered. "No need to be so shy cutie~" I said, I'll admit I was enjoying this quite a bit. (S)he blushed even more, trying to subtly hide behind their hand. I brushed my hair back with my hand and leaned forward, "so do you usually come here? I don't think I've ever seen you before, if I did I surely would have remembered~" I said flirtatiously, (s)he shook her head "n-no clears throat no I've never been here before, my friend recommended it to me.." I nodded and made a sound of understanding, "d-do you? Come here a lot I mean.." (s)he asked nervously, "yes I come here all the time with my friends" I said gesturing to the table where the seven members were still sitting, I noticed that a couple of them were staring and glared at them. "Oh ok, why are you over here then" (s)he asked with a quiet giggle, even their laugh is cute.. "well.. you caught my eye" I said looking back at them, (s)he blushed once again and giggled "wow, lucky me~" (s)he attempted to flirt back this time, cute~.

After a while, (s)he got more comfortable talking and wasn't stuttering as much. I have no idea how long we talked for, but next thing I knew Lino called out to me, "Hyunjin! We're leaving!" I looked over at him, and then back at y/n. "Looks like you have to go" (s)he said with a chuckle, "I suppose so" I stood up, "Hyunjin come on!" Lino called me again "give me a second!" I turned back to y/n, "I gotta go, but before I do, can I get your number?~" (s)he giggled and nodded, writing their number down on a piece of paper and handing it to me. "Thanks cutie" I winked at them, I could tell Lino was glaring at my back so I turned around and started walking towards the members giving y/n a small wave. "You done lover boy?" Lino said annoyed, "yeah yeah, let's go" I replied, rolling my eyes at him.

On our way back to the house I looked at the paper with y/n's number on it, it had a little heart on it. 'Cute' I thought to myself, taking my phone out of my pocket and putting their number in it. I texted her the next day.
