This is the first time one of my one shots wasn't based off of one of my tiktoks, I came up with this idea randomly and thought it was cute.

First person POV:

It was the middle of the night, about 12:30 or so, and I had woken up about 10 minutes ago. I have no idea why, but I'm up now and any sleepiness I felt when I first fell asleep was completely gone. I tried to turn over and fall back asleep to no avail, holding in a groan and rubbing my eyes. I looked over to the other side of the bed where my boyfriend Changbin was sound asleep, 'I doubt he'd notice if I got up' I thought to myself, slowly sitting up and getting out of bed.

'I'm hungry...' I thought as I quietly walked downstairs to our kitchen, trying to remember what we had in the cupboards. I got into the kitchen and started looking around for something I could eat without having to cook, I might not have been sleepy but it was still way too late to be cooking. I opened one of the cupboards, trying to see what was in it with the dim lighting. On the top shelf I saw a big bag of potato chips, I tried to reach up to grab it but it was too high for me to reach. 'Damn...' I thought to myself as I tried to stretch my body up farther to reach it, it didn't work. I put my hands on my hips and huffed in annoyance, I thought for a second and then decided to just climb up on the counter. I took a stool from the island in the middle of the kitchen and set it in front of the counter, I got up on the stool and onto the counter, standing up on my knees to reach the chips. 'Why did we get a house with such high cabinets, neither of us are tall enough for this' I complained in my head, still having to stretch my arm up to reach even while on the counter. however I accidentally leaned back a bit and ended up stumbling. I fell off the counter right on my butt, causing a loud bang. "Ow!" I exclaimed and rubbed my tailbone, wincing slightly. I heard footsteps going down the stairs, then I saw a groggy looking Changbin with messy hair. He turned on the light, previously I had only a small lamp on, and looked at me sitting on the floor. "Are you okay?" Changbin asked in a worried, and slightly startled, tone of voice. "Oww that hurrrt" I whined, Changbin walked over to me and crouched down in front of me. "What happened? What were you doing?" He asked, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. "I was hungry... I was trying to get the chips..." I said and pointed up at the cabinet I had just fallen from, he looked at where I was pointing and then looked back at me and shook his head. "Aish..." he cursed under his breath and then reached towards me, he put on arm under my legs and the other on my back and picked me up. He set me down on my feet slowly, resting his hand on my lower back "does it still hurt?" He asked. "Yeah a little..." I responded, "you need to be careful." After he said that I whined and hugged his arm, "I knowww... I'm still hungry though..." I complained and rested my head on his shoulder. He sighed and walked over to the counter I had fallen off of, looking up at the snack I was trying to reach. "Hmm... here" he said and then knelt down so I could get on his shoulders, I did as he suggested and sat on his shoulder. He stood up and I swayed slightly then giggling once I was stable, I reached up to the top shelf once again and grabbed the chips. "Yay I got them!" I said happily, immediately closing the cupboard and opening the bag. "Do you want some changbinnie?" I asked, looking down at Changbin. He nodded and I took a chip from the bag, feeding it to him. "You want to sit on the couch jagi?" Changbin asked, I hummed in affirmation and he started walking to the living room. He went over to the couch and stood with his back facing it, I slid off his shoulder and onto the couch before he sat down beside me. Once he sat down I took another chip from the bag and fed him again, I gave him a few and then had a few more myself. "Next time just wake me up okay? You should know by now that we have to work together for things like that." Changbin said wrapping an arm around me, "I don't want you getting hurt either, which you almost did, that will probably leave a bruise you know-" "I know I know, no need to scold me~"

We sat on the couch and talked for a while. actually until the chip bag was empty, whoops... whatever we bought it anyway, no one has to know about us pigging out at 1 in the morning.
I yawned and leaned against Changbin, I was finally getting sleepy again. Changbin rubbed my back and kissed the top of my head, "do you want to go back to bed now?" He asked and yawned as well. I nodded sleepily and nuzzled into him, fluttering my eyes closed. "Come on jagiya" he said smiling, and then picked me up like he did earlier. I wrapped my arms around his neck and let him carry me back upstairs, and into our bedroom. He set me down on our bed and then got in next to me, pulling the blanket overtop both of us and snuggling close to me. I wrapped my arms around his waist and rested my head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. He hugged me back around my shoulder and ran a hand through my hair, giving me a small kiss goodnight and then laying his head on top of mine.

Slowly both of us fell asleep for the second time that night, and this time we didn't wake up until morning.

The end~ I came up with this idea completely randomly, like I said. I was just listening to love songs and then all of a sudden poof one shot idea! I think it was cute 🥰
