First person POV:

I was on my way to visit my friends, Hyunjin and Felix, Hyunjin had called me earlier and asked me to come over , saying that him and Felix were the only ones there and that they were bored. He hadn't given me much information other than that though. On my way to their place, I noticed that it was really cloudy and it was getting colder. "It must be getting ready to rain" I mused out loud to myself, I wasn't a big fan of rain but since I'll be inside the whole time it's not a big deal. I'm glad I brought a jacket though, it's getting colder by the second.

Once I arrived at the place all of SKZ were staying, I knocked on the door and got greeted by hyunjin. "Hey y/n! Your here, come in Felix is baking cookies!" Hyunjin said, he barely gave me enough time to respond before he started pulling me towards the kitchen. I just smiled and let him drag me, and when we got in the kitchen I saw Felix cleaning up cookie dough from the counter. I could smell the cookies in the oven. "Hey lixie!" I greeted and Felix looked over at Hyunjin and I and smiled, temporarily stopping his cleaning. "Oh you're here! How are you y/n?" Felix asked me as he walked over to give me a hug, "I'm good lixie, it's good to see you!" I responded hugging him back.

Felix went back to cleaning up the last of the mess from baking, and I offered to help. He accepted and by the time we were done, the cookies were ready to be taken out of the oven.

~mini time skip~

The cookies Felix baked were done, and the three of us were eating them while watching a movie. It was a comedy, and we were having a great time laughing together over the movie. But then...

Boom Crrrack

The sound of thunder boomed outside followed by a crack of lighting, then black. The rain had turned into a full blown storm, and it just knocked out the power. The three of us jumped when the lights went out, me letting out a surprised yelp at the loud noise.

"Well, looks like the powers out, we should have a couple flashlights around here somewhere." Felix said, getting up to go look for said flashlights. I could barely see and the thunder was still roaring outside, the occasional crack of lighting here and there. I looked around the dark room, backing up into Hyunjin you was still next to me.

As the thunder got louder I started to shake a bit, and Hyunjin noticed. "Are you alright?" He asked putting a hand on my shoulder, I didn't say anything, as I was too preoccupied with trying not to panic. "Y/N? Y/N." Hyunjin spoke again, this time poking me a couple times to get my attention. I turned around and tried to look at him, but I couldn't see him. I put my hand in front of me and felt his arm, so I grabbed it and held onto the sweater he was wearing in a tight grip. "Are you afraid of the dark?" Hyunjin asked, starting to piece together why I was acting weird. I hummed in affirmation and gripped his sweater tighter, and at my response he lightly patted my back to comfort me. "It's alright, Felix is gonna get a flashlight and then we'll be able to see again."

As Hyunjin said that, a light filtered through the room. "I found the flashlights guys!" Felix's voice sounded and I heard him walk towards Hyunjin and I. "Is (s)he okay?" Felix asked seeing that I was still holding onto Hyunjin's arm. Hyunjin was about to respond when another loud boom sounded from outside, and I flinched and gripped even tighter onto him. Felix made a sound of realization, and sat down next to us. "Hey, it's okay. It's just thunder it can't hurt you, you're gonna be okay." Felix said with a soft tone, putting a hand on my back.

I loosened my grip on Hyunjin a bit, making Hyunjin let out a silent sigh of relief because of how hard I was squeezing his arm, and looked over at Felix. He smiled softly at me, and I started to calm down a little. Seeing then I was a little calmer, Felix leaned over to the coffee table in front of us and grabbed a cookie. "Here, do you want another cookie? It might help you feel better." He said smiling, handing the cookie to me. I let go of Hyunjin's arm, still staying close to him, and took the cookie with a small smile back.

~mini time skip~

The thunder hadn't let up, and every time it roared I flinched. But Felix and Hyunjin made sure I didn't freak out, and talked to me to keep me distracted. Felix had the idea to make a blanket fort, so we all got up and started grabbing pillow and blankets in order to do so.

We were now inside of a very large, and very comfortable, fort. I was sitting in between Hyunjin and Felix, the two of them pressed closed to each of my sides. Hyunjin had went upstairs a little earlier to get his laptop, and pulled up the movie we were watching on it. We continued the movie where it got cut short earlier, and I had almost forgotten about the thunder.

I could still hear it in the background, but it didn't feel like much of a concern anymore. It was no longer what I was focused on. Anytime that a particularly loud boom of thunder sounded, Hyunjin would grab my hand to make sure I wasn't scared. And anytime my mind trailed back to the noises and I flinched at the thunder, Felix would give me a side hug.

After the movie ended we put in another, then another, then another. Until eventually, we had fallen asleep halfway through one of them.

Cuddled up between two of my best friends invited a very peaceful sleep, even with the thunder. Felix was right, it's just a storm and it can't hurt me. Especially not when they're here.

A new chapter! What's gonna happen? Hahaha
