~George's P.O.V~

George wandered around the house. He hadn't spoken to Techno since he arrived back. He walked downstairs, bumping into Techno who seemed to be on a call with someone.

George rolled his eyes, walking to the door. Looking at the pool, he noticed that the back door was open. He looked back at Technoblade, then Kardac who was chewing a bone. Techno was still on the phone.

George slowly slid the glass door open before stepping outside. He looked back to make sure Techno was still distracted by the phone. Finding that he was, George closed the sliding door behind him, looking up at the sky. Squinting, he shielded his gaze from the harsh light.

He slid alongside the length of the house until he was sure no one would see him. Then, he made a run for it, dashing across the lawn. George didn't know exactly where he was going, all he knew was he was going away.

He stopped at the road, his legs aching. He hadn't even been running that long, but the short trip from the back door to the road seemed to have taken its toll. George watched from the sidewalk as the cars roared past. Idly, he picked at his collar which zapped him in response.

Without thinking, George stepped toward a car causing it to screech to a stop. He stumbled away, watching as the driver came out, yelling angrily. "What were you thinking! Are you trying to get yourself killed!?"

George tried to speak, but he couldn't. Instead he pulled on the collar, getting zapped in the process.

The man noticed the collar. "Whoa? What is that?" The man inspected the collar. He was about to touch George when he pulled back. George didn't look as if he was being held hostage beside the collar.

"Did someone put this on? Someone you don't like?" Concern laced the man's voice.

George nodded his head without saying another word.

"Here, I'll take you to the police." The man gestured to his car. Thankfully, George flashed him a smile and got into the car. They took off at a decent speed.

The man turned to George. His eyes were half on the road, half on George. "I'm Sam, what's your name?"

George looked at Sam then back out the window.

"You don't talk?" Sam questioned. George nodded his head. Sam handed him his phone, "Here- use the 'Notes' app to talk."

Nodding his head, he inspected the phone, he hadn't been on a phone since his kidnap. He opened the notes, typing his name into the phone.

I'm George.

Sam seemed lost in thought before speaking up. "George Davidson? You're that guy The Dreamer held captive? The only one he didn't kill?"

George nodded his head sadly.

"I thought you were at the hospital?"

He shook his head, typing a response into the app. No.

George didn't want to say too much in fear of getting in trouble in the future. "What's the collar for?" Sam asked, glancing at George's collar.
