(one month later)

kiss (v.)caress with lips; to touch somebody of something with the lips, either gently or passionately

"Wake up sunshine!" An excited voice greets me and I wake to see Liam smiling in my face.

"Could you possibly get any closer to my face?" I joked pushing his shoulder and causing him to flop back over onto his side of the bed. We laughed and I rolled over to lay closer to him, this time facing him.

"Love, is it okay if Louis and Harry come over today? They want to talk to just us two." I really like when Liam does things like this, he checks to see if things are okay, even though it is his house and we aren't actually in a relationship or anything.

"Of course it is! What do they want to talk about?"

"No idea." He looked thoughtfully off and I poked his nose, returning his attention to me.

"Can you give me a piggy back down to the living room? I'll just chill on the couch until they get here." He nodded and stood, bending down so I could move to the edge of the bed and attach myself. We do this often.

"Wait, don't you want some more clothes on first? Here, I'll get you some!" Going over to the dresser he grabbed me some shorts and one of his jumpers, returning to me quickly. After helping me get dressed he returned to his same position and I latched on to his back, thanking him for both acts.

"Want to have some warm drinks and chat while we wait?" I stuck out my hand and made a thumbs up in front of his face, earning a chuckle and a squeeze on my leg.I was dropped onto the couch, letting out a small squeal before coming to a rest, waiting for Liam to return. When he returned he had two mugs, one with his coffee and one with my hot chocolate, because he knows that I detest coffee.

"Guess what!" Liam suddenly exclaimed, plopping down next to me after setting down our mugs. The he was pushing one of my legs off the couch so he could lay between them, head resting on my tummy.

"What?" I wondered aloud as I ran my hands through his hair, receiving a hum of bliss.

"We have been living together for nearly two months and I still haven't asked you on a proper date! So, Stevie, will you do me the great honor of going on a date with me Friday?" He looked up, my hands still entangled in his hair, and gauged my reaction.

"Of course I will! Honestly, I kind of feels like we've been dating this whole time. You know? It has just felt like a relationship." I spoke the truth, hoping he felt the same way, hoping I wasn't overstepping any boundaries.

"I feel the same way! It's like we've been a couple this whole time, and truthfully I've loved it. It's like we've been playing house. Like pretending to be a married couple without all of the commitment, so there were no hurt feelings if we didn't get along. I guess we would make a good couple since we haven't even really fought about one thing since you've moved in." He giggled, snuggling impossibly closer to me, hugging around my middle and pushing his head into my stomach/his pillow.

"Very true, but we don't have anything to argue about! I like staying here with you and I enjoy your company." I laughed as he placed a chaste kiss to my stomach and stood up to answer the now ringing doorbell.

"I enjoy your company and having you here very much." Kissing my forehead this time he jogged over to the door and let in his friends whom I have grown to like too.

"Hi guys!" I greeted from the couch grabbing and chugging most of my hot chocolate down.

"Hey Stevie! Thank goodness you are here too! We need Liam's opinion and a female's point of view." Harry spoke, practically dragging a reluctant Louis behind. Louis slumped on the couch and pushed himself away from Harry.
