Chapter 7 - Bittersweet And Internal Conflict

"Should we leave now?"

It has already been two and a half years in Earth's time since both Cale and Kim Dokja incarnated in Planetary 82624 and help clear the misunderstanding of the Original Cale Henituse being the White Star. The war that was supposed to end for many years and resulted in many deaths, ended in only five years.

They had defeated the White Star with the help of Kim Rok Soo and Kim Dokja. And now, it was time for them to leave the Universe.

"Do you really have to leave?" Raon asked, fluttering around the two constellations.

Kim Rok Soo turned back to being Cale Henituse as he reached out to pat the dragon child, "Yeah, we do."

"Can't you visit, nya?"

"We can't, this universe is too far to travel." Kim Dokja solemnly said while adding a small joke at the end.

Which didn't make any better but whatever.

"The kids will miss you." The original Cale said in a matter-of-fact tone, which earned a raised eyebrow from Kim Rok Soo.

"Human's right!"

"Nya!"

"Nya!"

Kim Rok Soo doesn't know what to do, so he looked at Kim Dokja for help before the raven thought of an idea.

"If you miss us, just look at the stars above. Do you see those constellations?" Kim Dokja said before pointing out at the two group of stars.

"Oh, that's our constellations. I didn't know it was visible here." Rok Soo had muttered to himself before he felt being hugged by someone more taller than him.

"Unlucky bastard, I'm sure that's what my other self calls you, doesn't he?"

Kim Rok Soo's breath hitched and he froze for a few seconds before melting into the hug, then he returned the favor by hugging the gold dragon tighter.

"Yeah, I'm your unlucky bastard of an adopted son."

Cale looked at his hand which was starting to fade away, making him feel a sense of deja vu and closed his eyes.

It was the same way how he left them, of how he said to them that he would wake up after he rested.

"Uhmm, I guess this is goodbye? We really need to go now." Kim Rok soo had said before breaking away from the hug.

"It's not a goodbye, Rok Soo-nim." Alberu then said before giving him a side hug.

"Yes, it is simply see you later, Rok Soo-ssi." Choi Han said before giving him a grateful smile.

The original Cale Henituse and Choi Han had finally talked to each other and now, they are getting friendly with one another.

Kim Rok Soo looked at the night sky above him, "Yeah, see you later."

And Kim Dokja had watched this scene with a warm feeling tingling in his chest

Kim Rok SooㅡCale smiled widely, and it is the most genuine Kim Dokja had seen in all the years he had been with him.

The two constellations faded away and joined the stars that were twinkling at the dark sky above them, and it was the most beautiful scene they had seen with their own two eyes.

"Hmm, why don't we visit Planetary 56823 for a while? Aren't you curious how they are doing?" Kim Dokja asked while petting Cale's hair. They had finally arrived and are currently resting on the subway train.

"Unless it's not destroyed yet, sure, I guess."

Cale wasn't sure if his world line still exists, considering all the threats he received from Raon that he would destroy the world and kill himself after. He sure hopes that is not the case.
