man cant stand, he cant fight

Class had ended. Kenny walked to the back of the dojo where he waited for Robby.

Y/n was putting on her shoes when Robby tapped her shoulder. Y/n turned around "Hey you think you can train with Kenny? I gotta go do something," said Robby. "Yeah sure" Y/n nodded. "Thanks" Robby gave the (hair color)-haired girl a smile and left the dojo.

"See you later then?" Said Andy. "Yeah," Y/n said as she took off her shoes once more. "Bye," Andy said before leaving the dojo. Y/n walked to the back of the dojo. "Hey, Robby had something to deal with so I'll be training with you," Y/n said grabbing the punching mitts.
Kenny nodded "alright"

Y/n stood in front of Kenny. Kenny kicked the mitts "Are you guys gonna beat up this Hawk dude?" He asked. "Don't worry about it. Focus on your combos" Y/n replied. "Use that speed of yours. Let's go"

Kenny punched the red mitts the kicked them. "Good, again," Y/n said. "Told you guys I've been practicing. Got all the moves down" Kenny said with pride. "Really?" Y/n dropped the mitts. Kenny looked at her with confusion.
Y/n bent down and swept the boy's legs. Kenny groaned as he hit the floor. Y/n held her hand out to Kenny. Kenny gladly took it and stood up. "Over at Miyagi-Do we were taught you can learn all the moves but that doesn't matter unless you have balance. Got it?" Y/n asked.

"Yeah" Kenny nodded.
Silver chuckled.

The boy and girl turned their heads to look at their new sensei. He leaned on the door frame. "I-it's a Cobra Kai lesson...I was just using Miyagi-Do—" Y/n stuttered. "It's okay" Silver made his way towards the pair. "Balance is crucial. A man can't stand, he can't fight."

"Give Miss LaRusso and me a moment alone" Silver made sure to emphasize Y/n's last name. "Yes, sensei" Kenny bowed and walked out.

"Sensei Kreese told me all about you. How's your dad?" Silver asked. Y/n furrowed her eyebrows "My dad?" Y/n replied. "Yeah. I used to teach him" Silver said. "You?" said Y/n. "He did mention he was a Cobra Kai, right?" Silver said.

"Yeah. I just thought Sensei Kreese was the one who taught him." Y/n said honestly. "How come you're at Cobra Kai and not in Miyagi-Do?" Silver asked. "I wanna get back at my dad" Y/n answered. Silver chuckled "You know your dad had all the potential but instead he ran off back to Miyagi. I like that you're sticking with Cobra Kai. Like your dad should've"

"I'm doing whatever I can to win," Y/n said.

"Good, show me." Y/n looked at him dumbfounded "what's the matter? Afraid to hit an old man? Come on, show me" Silver chuckled. Y/n nodded and stepped back getting into her fighting position.

Y/n threw a punch at him but the silver-haired man caught her fist with ease. "Did I say take it easy? Come on, no mercy" Silver let go of her hand and stepped back getting into his fighting stance.

Y/n bent down and attempted to sweep the older man's legs but he quickly moved back. Getting up she sent him some kicks but he dodged them. Y/n tried to punch Silver but he blocked the punches. He grabbed her arm and flipped her onto the cold ground. "Good, good" silver muttered. Y/n panted as she got up.

"Now it's my turn" Silver smirked. Silver kicked at Y/n but she quickly moved. "Hands up," Silver said. Y/n tightened her fist and tried to get a hit. "Ais! Ais!" Silver blocked Y/n. "Ais!" He punched her stomach. "Ais!" He kicked her stomach. Y/n stumbled down. She wheezed and coughed. "Come on" Silver offered her his hand.

Y/n took it and Silver helped her up. "You've learned to channel your anger but your afraid" Y/n looked up at the older man "I'm not afraid" she replied. "You lying to me or yourself?" said Silver. "If you wanna be a champion, you need to dig out that fear and face it, whatever that is. Because if you don't, it's gonna hold you back forever. Understood?"

Y/n nodded slowly "yes, Sensei"

silver smiled "good"
