"Yeah?" He said 
"Yeah." I smiled 
"Is everything in black and white?" He asked me 
He put his hat on my head as I smiled and looked at him.
"Get out of my head." I said pushing him 
"You ever been? To Paris?" He asked 
"Someday." I smiled 
"Avec moi?." He said 
"I guess I could use a translator." I said 
"My parents had their honeymoon there." He said 
"So I've been saving up to send them for their 25th anniversary." He said 
"What if they don't want to go?" I asked 
"I mean, who doesn't want to go to Paris?" He asked me 
"Yeah, but what if they don't want to go with each other?" I asked him 
"It's not a crime to fall out of love, you know." I said 
"Rosa!" He said 
"Hmm?" I muttered 
"Love never dies." He said 
"What?" He asked 
"You just sound like someone who's never been hurt by life." I said 
"You putting me on notice?" He asked 
"No." I laughed 
"Um, what the hell is that?" I asked 
"This... is a rowboat." He said 
"I'm assuming you want me to get in that." I asked 
"You are getting in this with me." He said 
"No." I said 
"We spent four hours in your darkroom doing what you love to do." He said 
"Let me show you what I love to do." He said 
I sighed as I got up and walked over to the boat as he helped me in.
"Hands under you?" I asked 
"Thumbs here." He said 
"And then it's gonna go simple like that. You press it down." He continues 
"Okay." He said 
"And then you tilt it and then you pull it." He smiled 
"Hmm." I said 
"And then you're pressing down, tilt it and then pull it." He said 
"Okay, I'm gonna try and go forward again." I said 
"Alright." He said 
"Don't help me." I said 
"I won't." He smiled 
"I won't. You've got this. You've got it okay." He said 
"Oh my god." I said 
"This is awful." I said 
"Oh I'm so tired now." I groaned 
"You're flying." He said 
We finally just let the boat go along the lake as I laid in his arms.
He had his arms around my waist as I had my eyes closed.
I sat up in his lap and he kissed my head as I smiled to myself.
We sat there for hours just enjoying each other's company.
"I love you, rosa." He said 
He sighed as I didn't reply back to him and moved away from me.
