He put it to his heart as he smiled at me and I just listened.

I heard his heart beat thumping as I put my hand on his.

"Come on. I want to show you something." He said smiling

He picked me up and opened my hospital door as I followed.

I fell into his arms as he held me up and looked at me worried.

He put my hands on his back as he helped me get on his back.

I put my arms around his neck as he walked down the hall.

We walked towards this white light and then I open my eyes.

"Dawson!" I said

"Bad dream?" The nurse asked

"You called out his name." She said

"Its called a visitation dream. We see lots of them around here." She sighed

"It's all part of the grieving process." She said

"I know. It just feels like Dawson is really here." I said

"Olivia would love to hear about that." She said

"Who's Olivia?" I asked

"A patient writing a book on the afterlife." The nurse said

"Okay." I said

"The other day she offered to read my aura." She said

"I politely declined." She said

"What is that?" I asked

"You're belongings from the crash." She said

"They closed the accident report already?" I said

"Well, neither driver had alcohol or drugs in their system." She said

"That's usually the end of it." She continued

"They never even interviewed me." I said sadly

"You said you didn't remember anything about the accident?" She said

"I don't." I said

"Maybe that's for the best." She smiled

She walked out of the room and then she closed the door.

I opened the bag as I held his hat and looked down at it.

I grabbed out my phone but it wouldn't even turn on at all.

"I'm very encouraged Rosa." The doctor says

"The scan shows your right ventricle is functioning quite well, despite the tear." She said

"Finally, some good news." Nathan said

"It is more than good." The Doctor said

"Nighty nine out of one hundred with this same injury never make it off my table." She said

"I did die." I said

"Only for no longer than 30 minutes." The doctor said

"I could see Dawson." I said

"Like he was in this crazy white light." I sighed

"What is that? Was she hallucinating." Brian had asked her

"When the body does undergo severe trauma the hypothalamus can then flood the brain with pain relieving endorphins." She said

"So when can we take her home?" Eric asked

"End of the week." She said

"Rosa needs to be extremely careful these next few months." She said to them

"Any chest pain or shortness of breath, call 911 right away understand?" She said

"Yes." I said nodding

My brothers went back home and I was now in the bathroom.

I was holding my hair as tears were streaming down my face.

I cried as I kept looking at it and my heart was now thumping.

I grabbed hold of some scissors and cut off a strand of my hair.

I kept crying as I cut more and more of my hair off as I looked.

I heard a knock on the door as I put my head against the wall.

I put my hands on the wall as tears were now coming down my face faster.

I put my hand over my mouth as I tried to form the words.

"Yes? I'll be out in a minute." I said

I opened the door as I got up and nobody was even there.

I heard electrical sounds and then my phone dinged as I looked on my bed.

I walked over to my bed and picked up my phone to see an unknown number.

I had opened the picture to see the place that he had worked at here by the beach.

"You watch, I'll translate." I hear his voice and turn around fast.

My breathing got heavier and I turned around but my phone stopped working.

I woke up the next morning and slowly got out of my bed.

I walked out the back of the hospital as I looked out of the doors.

I saw an older black woman as I walked to where she was sat.

"Hi, excuse me. Are you Olivia?" I asked her

"I am going to take a wild guess here." She said

"Room 22A, girl with the broken heart?" She asked me.

"Relax." She laughed

"I'm not psychic, the nurse told me you might come and look for me." She said smiling

"Oh." I said

"My condolences." She said as her smile dropped.

"Thank you." I said sadly

"Are your hands injured?" She asked me.

"Excuse me?" I asked

"From the accident? Did you hurt your hands at all child?" She asked me

"No, why?" I asked

"Ta da." She said pointing to her nails

"Oh come on, come on." She laughed

I sat down next to her as she looked down at my hands.

"So what is your book about?" I asked

"It's about adcs." She said

"After death communication." She continued

"Okay, so you believe that dead people can contact us." I asked her

"Along with billions of other people from faith that spans the globe." She said

"Sometimes, the departed, they call out to us in a voice." She talks

"And other times, we can smell their cologne or even perfume in the air." She continues

"No matter how they communicate, the message is always the same." She said

"I'm still here." She says

"And your grief, like a beacon, calls me to your side." She smiles

"And when the separation has been traumatic, like with you and your boyfriend, there is often some unfinished business." She says looking at me.

"Like regrets or something?" I asked

"Like things left undone or unsaid." She said to me.

"Rosa." Nathan says

"We've signed you out let's go." He said
