Faith's POV
"SO what is it exactly is the big deal, that he knows that you are part of Warped anyways?" Oli asks, while finishing up his set of pull up.
"Because, he is the kind of boy who won't let up on me. Especially knowing that I lied about leaving" I sigh, with annoyance ringing threw my voice.
"Well," He starts, while moving so I could grab on to the pull up bar, that is connected to the door of our bus. "Well, just tell it to him straight. I know you, and you can make him back off if you really wanted to. You do have that natural, bitch attitude." He explains with a grin, while doing air quotes as he said the word natural.
"Ha-Ha, very funny, but I'm being serious. I want our summer to be fun, and exciting. Cause we all need this. And I'll be damned if I let that little punk try and ruin it" I huff. As I let go of the bar.
Oli does has a point though. People have told me that I'm not the most 'friendliest' person in the world. But hey, I'm not one to just let myself be vulnerable to the world.... least I'm not anymore.
"I'm just saying Faith, you have done one hell of good job chasing men away" he says looking up at me, while he was reaching down, stretching his legs.
"Yeah, well... whatever. I'll just ignore him. I'm pretty sure he will lose interest. I mean come on, The Ian Wilson needs to get some ass". Oli laughs at my response, "So you ready to get this run done with?" he asks with a smile
"Yeah. Let do it"

"I feel so free today" I tell Hayley as I exit the bus.
After Oli and I got done with our morning workout, we came back to bus, and hosed each other off, then went to get ready for the day. I decided to wear my blue denim short shorts, with a gray tang top with the word 'Vodka' on it, with my black bro hat with my hair down showing off my natural wavy hair. I applied light make up, but decided to have a light red lip. It was starting to get hot out, and us being basically on vacation I felt like I was allowed to put my nose pricing back in, show off some skin, and let my tattoos breathe a little. Since I do work at a hospital I really don't show off all them. I have a few on my arms, in random places, but they all have special meanings. Like for instance. The lock that is in my right inner forearm, I got when Danny and I broke up. I never let someone truly hold my heart till him, and getting this, is a reminder to me how I will never give it out again. To be honest, it reminds me how love is dead. Growing up, I was a typical girl. Dreaming of my perfect man, of my perfect wedding. Living and loving someone for the rest of my life. My parents were the perfect example of it. They were high school sweethearts, and you could just see the love they had when they looked at each other, and the sad look they had when they were away from each other. They made me want to find love.
However, when I did, it just broke me as a person. Love is great, but no one ever told me how much it hurts when it dies.
So to save myself from a breakdown, I've decided to give up on love. Cause it's not for everybody. Love is not for me.
"Well, well well, don't you look sexy" Hayley says with a wink, as she looked up from her phone. I laugh.
"Do you wanna come with me to look at the line up for the day?" I ask.
"Sure". As we walk towards the bulletin board I couldn't help but notice the looks we were getting. The look they knew something, that we didn't.
"So I think I'm going to brake up with Nick" Hayley says randomly. "The hell, why?, I thought you guys worked everything out?" I asked completely shocked.
"It's just. I feel like we aren't going anywhere. I mean yeah, I care about him, and I love him so much. But it seems like he is just trying to push me away. He always gets mad at me, and I'm just getting tired of it. Plus, I would rather be the dumper, than the dumpie." As she explains, I can see the hurt in her eyes. She really does love him.
"To be honest, I think you guys just need to sit down, and really talk. And I do mean talk Hayley, you need to let him get his feeling out, and not get mad, and vis versa." I say truthfully, while eyeing her to let her know I mean business.
See, love is complex.
When we reach the bulletin board, I start to search to see what stage/time we are playing. "WHOA!" Hayley screams and I stare at her like she has gone mad. "What?"
"Look!" she says as she points at the board.
"Whoa..." I whisper.
"We are playing Main Stage!!!" Hayley screams again while jumping up and down
Main stage. Only the best of the best play Main Stage. This has to be some sort of mistake. I mean, we are new here. We have only played one show this whole tour. Yeah, we had a great amount of people show up, but I mean, it was nothing compared to other bands.
"We need to find Kenny, maybe he made a mistake?" I tell Hayley as I start to walk toward his bus.
"Wait, do you think that's the case?" she askes, as we arrive at Kenny's door.
"I don't know, but we need to find out." I knock on the bus door, and begin to tap my foot. Where is he, I need t figure this out.
"Hello?" Hayley and I quickly turn around as we hear a voice behind us. It was Kenny. The man who made this whole tour possible. Every summer, he invites 30+ bands, to travel with him, across the states to share the love of rock music.
"Umm, hi Mr. Kenny, we just have a ...um quick question about today's line up..." I shyly ask him.
Kenny, that is what everyone knows him by. He has never let anyone know his last name, so to make things less formal, we are all forced to call him by his first name. He was wearing tan, long shorts, with no shirt, which I could only imagine the reason being, was because he wanted to get rid of his farmers tan. He had a hat on backwards, with sunglasses covering his eyes, which to me, made no since.
"Yes, what can I help you with, honey?" He asked smiling.
"Well, you see, we were wondering, if you meant to put us on Main stage today?" I explain to him raising an eyebrow. He laughs, and motions us to follow him around his bus.
"Yes dear, I did place you guys on Main Stage, on purpose." He leads us to a couple of tables and chairs. We watch as he sits at one of them.
"Why do you ask?"
"Cause we have never played any of your tours before, and you most defiantly have better acts to place up there" Hayley says as she narrows her eyes at him.
He laughs again, and looks between her and I. "Well after last night's performance at the cookout I knew you guys were the real deal. With so much passion, and pride, you guys defiantly showed me you deserve to play a great crowd, on a great stage."
I couldn't help the huge smile that over took my face. This can't be happening, just a few years ago we started this band just to escape the stress of nursing school, now here we are, playing Warped Tour, and on our second day, getting the honor to play Main Stage.
This summer is going to be the summer that heals me. I can just feel it.
