Faith's POV.
"Uhh, Faith what are you doing?" Nick chuckled, as he walked off the bus. When I got back to my bus, I hooked up our hose to the water line, striped down to my bra and panties, and just let the water pour down my body.
"Taking a cold shower..."
"I see that, now why are you taking a cold shower?" He must know I was Ian's. His lips are holding a devilish smirk, and he is wiggling his eyebrows.
"Shut up Nick." I said, as I turned the water off. "Here", He grabs the folded green towel off the ground and passes it to me.
"So are you ready for today?" I ask him, as I dry myself off. Today is the big day, Nick it going to ask Hayley to be his wife, in-front of hundreds of people. "Yeah, but I'm more then sure, I'm going to puke. I haven't been able to eat all day, or sleep at all last night."
My heart begins to sink, and I automatically feel like shit. "Nick, I'm sorry I wasn't here last night. I know I'm the only one who knows, and I wish I was there for you to talk too."
"It's okay Faith. Hayley told us how you saw Danny last night. Speaking of which. How did that go?"
"Pretty much the shitty-ist thing you can imagine." I frowned. I completely forgot I saw Danny last night. Being with Ian pretty much all morning must have pushed the memory of him to the side.
"I'm sorry" He placed his arm around me, and pulled me into a side hug. "It's okay really." I'm still breathing aren't I.
"So what time is our set? Have you guys looked yet?". I questioned him, as I pulled my shirt over my head. "Yeah, it's at 3 on the VANs Stage."
I'm so relieved that our set is a little later on. It's just hitting 12, and the fair ground is starting to fill with people.
"Hey woman!, Let me see your phone, I have to get a number out of it" Jax says. He was walking up with some girl. Guess he is trying to get some. Interesting. "Yeah, let me grab it real quick." I ran up the steps to the bus, and began my search for my phone.
Ian's POV
It's been so long since I've been here. There are vines growing around her tombstone, and dried up, dead flowers crowded around her memory.
"Hey mom" I said as I took a seat in-front of her name. Joy River Wilson.
"I know it's been a while since I visited last. I'm sorry. But, hey I talk to you every night, so that counts I guess."
I take a deep breath in and hold it in. It's so hard being here. Just being in this town makes me picture of her funeral all over again. It's been a year since she passed, and yet it still feels like yesterday.
