It's aN ACTUAL UPDATE YAY
I apologize if this chapter doesn't make up for the long wait :/
SORRY THIS CHAPTER IS ALL OVER THE PLACE WITH POINT OF VIEW IDK WHAT HAPPENED
-------------------------------------------
The next morning (after waking up and making a not so pleasant trip to the bathroom) Ashton could barely look Luke in the eyes. This was all so weird. He temporarily believed that yesterday was just a dream. But, Ashton's churning stomach said otherwise.
For breakfast, Luke insisted on making Ashton toast, explaining that it's "easy on an upset stomach," and he honestly didn't really have an appetite lately, but he decided to eat just for Luke's peace of mind.
Surprisingly, Calum and Michael didn't ask any questions about the doctor's appointment. Maybe Luke covered for them already; he hoped so. Ashton wasn't in the mood for making up bullshit lies (or telling the truth, which wasn't an option in his mind).
He wasn't ready to tell anyone anything, for that matter. Ashton had no idea what he was going to do; there were so many factors he had to think about, like the band, if he and Luke actually decided to keep this thing. And, quite frankly, Ashton wasn't sure if...he even wanted this. Why would he? It'll only add more problems and stress in his life, and he can't ever see himself coming to terms with the fact that he's even able to get pregnant in the first place.
Not that he didn't love kids, because he did, but in this circumstance, it just wasn't something Ashton wanted at the moment. Not to mention that it was derived from a drunken mistake between him and his best friend.
Ashton felt his stomach continue to uncomfortably churn as he nibbled on a piece of toast. He still had a lot of time to decide what he wanted to do, yet he felt like he had already made his decision. He just wasn't too keen on telling Luke about it, who would most likely disagree with him.
Shouldn't Luke be the one who wants an abortion, more or less as much as Ashton does? It didn't seem like he found any of this as weird and crazy like Ashton did, but maybe that's because he's not the one who's actually pregnant. Maybe things still haven't set in for him.
"Are you okay?" Ashton looked up from his plate of toast at the sound of Luke's concerned voice, only to glare at the blonde across the table in annoyance (but, for some reason, his heart always fluttered when Luke said this; he didn't understand why).
"You asked me that five minutes ago," Ashton seethed between his teeth, "I'm fine."
His friend had become a little annoying every since yesterday, constantly hovering over him. If that's what'll happen if they decide to go through with this, Ashton wasn't sure if he'd be able to handle it.
Luke just shook his head slightly at Ashton's harsh tone of voice; was he already having mood swings?
"Sorry," Ashton mumbled quietly after, looking down at his lap and feeling guilty for snapping at him.
Before Luke could reply, the sound of Spongebob Squarepants on TV had Ashton quickly abandoning his toast and Luke, making the blonde shake his head again, only fondly this time.
----time skip-----
There was only two more days until the doctor's appointment, where it would decide whether they'd go through with this or not. Ashton and Luke didn't talk about it much after the day they found out about all of this, mostly to avoid fighting. The morning sickness continued on, making Michael and Calum worried, but Luke found a way to reassure them.
