When the shuttle exited warp they found a blackhole at the coordinates. T'lyn and Michael tried to steer the shuttle to get out of the blackhole, but Spock went against them and continued into the blackhole. T'lyn and Michael were shocked when he kept making them go further towards the blackhole. "Spock! We will die if you go into the blackhole!" T'lyn exclaimed, but got no acknowledgement from Spock.
When they arrived at the centre of the blackhole it suddenly disappeared and changed to a planet. T'lyn and Michael looked at eachother and then at Spock. "So it was all a trick." Michael said. T'lyn looked outside the window when the shuttle landed. "This planet looks deserted. Why did he bring us here?" she said to herself and followed Michael outside of the shuttle. What are they doing here?
A woman was approaching the shuttle and they hurried back to the shuttle. "Are you Talosian?" Michael asks the woman. "No, I am human. But I am a permanent resident." The woman responded walking towards Spock. She tried talking to Spock and identifying herself as Vina, asking Spock if he remembers her.
After finding out that Vina knew Captain Pike and how she ended up on Talos IV Vina tells Michael to transport Spock under the surface. T'lyn was about to follow Michael and Spock but was stopped by Vina. "I said them, not you." Vina told T'lyn coldly. T'lyn didn't have the energy to argue so she just sat down in the shuttle and waited.
After some time had passed Michael arrived back at the shuttle with a responsive Spock, Vina and three Talosian men. When Spock saw T'lyn he gave her a cold look and turned around to Michael. "It is your turn to hold your end of the deal" One of the three men said to Michael. Michael looked at T'lyn with a face that said sorry. Then T'lyn passed out.
"T'lyn, Be careful" T'lyn's mom told her, laughing at her child, they were running around in the field in their backyard. "Hide T'lyn, they are coming" T'lyn's father whispered to his wife, giving a smile to T'lyn. "Already? She is only seven"Her mother responded, growing concerned. The father just nodded. "T'lyn, come here." The mother said. T'lyn ran back to her mother, confused at her serious look. "Do you remember when we told you that one day you need to hide and stay completely silent because bad people are coming?" T'lyn's mother asked the young T'lyn. T'lyn nodded. "Well the day has come, so I need you to hide and don't leave your hiding spot until Sarek comes and finds you. If anyone that is not Sarek comes, run as fast as you can and find a good place to hide and Sarek will find you." T'lyn's mom said as she closed the door to T'lyns hiding spot. All T'lyn could hear were her parents screams of pain, and the strangers asking where T'lyn was. Until it all became quiet.
T'lyn woke up with tears running down her face. It was the one day that T'lyn never talk about nor want to relive, both Spock and Michael knew this. Quickly wiping her tears and looking around her. All she could see was Michael's face saying that she was sorry and Spock looking at her out of pity. T'lyn just stood up and went in the shuttle and brought her legs to her chest and just stared into nothing. Both Spock and Michael tried to speak to her, but she just turned her back towards them.

She didn't even notice that she was brought onboard Discovery. When she realised she just stayed silent and went to her quarters. Everyone tried to talk to her but she just stayed silent. She just kept on relieving that day over and over again. Not getting any sleep for days.
Two days later T'lyn stood outside the bridge and took a deep breath. "Permission to speak to you Captain, privately" T'lyn said as she walked through the door to the bridge. She noticed that Spock and Michael both turned towards her when they heard her voice. "Permission granted, follow me to my office." Captain Pike said. Even though they had their differences, he had heard about what happened and he was worried about her.
"Captain, this might seem sudden but I have requested to transfer back to Vulcan. I thought it was best to let you know before I leave." T'lyn said as the door closed behind her. "Why, if I may ask." Captain Pike asked her. "I can't trust some of the crew, and I can continue my work on Vulcan." T'lyn answered professionally. The Captain took a deep breath as he asked "Who in the crew do you not trust?" T'lyn didn't know how to put it, but decided to be honest. "Michael Burnham and Spock, but I do not wish to go into details as it is a private matter." T'lyn told the Captain. "I do wish you'd stay but I respect your decision. You may go back to your office." Captain Pike said. Leaving his office and walking quickly out of the bridge, ignoring everyone who tried to speak to her.
"Commander Burnham, Lieutenant Spock my office please" Captain Pike said after T'yn left the bridge. "I don't know what happened between you and Lieutenant T'lyn, but she has just requested her transfer. So whatever you did, I hope you can resolve it before she leaves." Captain Pike said when they were in his office. "What do you mean? She has requested to transfer from Discovery?" Michael said shocked, she knew what she did was wrong. But she didn't think that she would transfer. "She is scheduled to leave tomorrow at 1800 hours." Captain pike said as he dismissed them.
