T'lyn arrived at the USS Discovery to investigate seven abnormal signals in space. What she didn't know was that her past would haunt her.

Chapter 1
"Arrival"
"Michael Burnham, we meet again" the person answered. "I see you two know each other?" Captain Pike said, looking between the two women. "Captain Pike, thank you for having me, all I will be needing is an office to work and access to all information about the signals." T'lyn said and nodded to the captain. "Let's start with introducing you to the bridge crew. Please follow me to the bridge where you will meet the people you will be working with until these signals are found. After that I will show you to your quarters and where you will be working." Captain Pike said as he showed the way to the bridge.
The walk to the bridge was quiet, the tension between T'lyn and Michael was obvious. Captain pike didn't dare to say a word, he just kept looking between the two women.

The door to the bridge opened and the bridge crew turned towards the door. Captain Pike nudged T'lyn towards the middle of the bridge. "Please introduce yourself T'lyn" Captain Pike said. "Hello, my name is T'lyn, I specialise in abnormalities in space. That is why I was requested to help with the signals you have been researching." T'lyn looked around the room. "Let's do some introductions, who wants to start?" Captain Pike said and looked around the room. "My name is Saru, I am the first officer. It is nice meeting you T'lyn" T'lyn gave a nod towards Saru before looking around at the room. "The name is Keyla Detmer, I work mostly on navigation." "Hi! I'm Tilly, I am an ensign here!" "I'm D.Nhan, I am the chief security here." The introductions kept coming.
"Follow me T'lyn, I'll show you where you'll be working." Captain pike said after everyone on the bridge had introduced themselves. He began walking out of the bridge, leading the way to T'lyn office. "All the information we have of the signals you should have access to, if there is anything that is missing let me know and I will see what we can work out." Captain Pike stopped outside two doors. "Your quarter is right next to your office." Captain pike said and pointed towards the door next to the one they stood in front of. He walked through the door, "This will be your office for the time being. "Thank you Captain." T'lyn said as she looked around the office. "Well, I'll be at the bridge if you need anything." Captain Pike said as he walked out of the office.

When T'lyn got back to her office she immediately went and started reading the reports about the signals. She wanted to catch up with everything, the quicker she finished reading her reports the quicker she could get started on her work. T'lyn was in the middle of reading through the latest report when the whole office shook. T'lyn Looked around and made sure nothing was harmed and picked up a few things around the office before she made her way to the bridge. It was difficult to avoid all the sparks of energy in the corridors to the bridge. "What is going on?" T'lyn asked, eyes widening when she realised that she was speaking Vulcan. "The universal translator is broken, we are not sure why but we are looking into it now." Micheal answered in Vulcan. The two women made their way to the bridge, avoiding the energy sparks along the way.
By the time the two women had arrived at the bridge Saru had fixed the translator temporarily. "What happened?" T'lyn asked again. "The sphere has us locked in and has spread a virus through our computers." Captain Pike answered her question and pointed out the window towards the sphere. "There has to be a logical explanation to why it is doing this. It can not happen without a reason." T'lyn insisted, trying to get the colleagues around her to agree. "Logic isn't always the answer, T'lyn you're dismissed." Captain Pike shot back, not even looking at T'lyn. With that T'lyn just rolled her eyes towards him before leaving the bridge to continue her research about the signals.

After some time without any more disturbances and everything had calmed down, there was a knock on her office door. "Come in." T'lyn answered and turned to the door. "Lyn, can we talk?" Michael asked when she came inside, silently pleading for T'lyn to listen. "Sure." T'lyn answered and gestured towards a chair infront of her desk. Michael sat down and T'lyn sat down in her office chair. "I'm sure you have a lot of questions, and I am here to answer them all." Micheal Burnham told T'Lyn, looking at her with a knowing look. Both women knew what T'lyn really wanted to know, but no one dared speak of him.
T'lyn thought for a moment unsure of how to say it or even if she should ask it. "Where is he? I thought Captain pike was the Captain of the enterprise so why didn't Spock follow Captain Pike here? Spock is the chief science officer, if anyone could figure this out it would be him." T'lyn asked, looking unsure at the woman in front of her. "We don't know for sure where Spock is. He escaped starbase 5 psychiatric unit, in the process he killed three starfleet officers." Micheal answered her, not daring to meet T'lyn's eyes.
To say that T'lyn was shocked was an understatement. "Lyn, I know you and Spock we're close. Do you know where he might be? If something like this happens, you would be the first person he would go to." Michael asked her while carefully standing up and approaching T'lyn. "Spock is not a murder. There has to be a logical explanation to why he did that" T'lyn stated "I have not talked to him since I left the enterprise. He stopped answering my messages so I thought he did not want to talk to me after everything that happened. " T'lyn told Micheal. When Michael heard this, she was shocked since she knew how close Spock and T'lyn used to be. "I will keep you updated about Spock. Lyn, I promise we will find him" Michael said as she left T'lyns office.
