Chapter 8
After finishing with studying the different things, she went back to the Discovery to do further research. She was currently looking through Dr.Burnhams interrogation. Trying to figure out what the signals ment. "You have been rewatching the same video over five times." Spock told T'lyn, surprising her. But she refused to look at him. "There is something I can't figure out." T'lyn said, pausing the video. "What do you mean?" Spock asked, he was confused. Because T'lyn was the smartest in their class at the Vulcan science academy.
"She says that she doesn't know anything about the signals, and her body language tells me that she is telling the truth." T'lyn says as she looks through her notes and slams her hands down on the table. "T'lyn, I can help you with getting an answer." Spock said, looking at T'lyn. "Fine, but take notes on everything you find. Even the smallest things." T'lyn said, going back to her notes.
"I think I have an explanation." Spock said after a while. T'lyn turned to Spock, motioning for him to continue. "We do know that the red angels bio-neural signature matches with Michael to 100%. But Michael and her mom do not have the exact same bio-neural signatures. Which indicates that there is another time-travelling being creating the signals." Spock said, showing T'lyn his research. "That would make logical sense." T'lyn said after reading Spocks research.
"T'lyn, can I ask you a question?" Michael said, walking into T'lyns office. "Sure" T'lyn said, still looking at her notes. "Would a population be able to survive Control if they were not dependent on technology?" Michael asked. "Yes, since Control is an AI it can't reach something that is not dependent on technology." T'lyn answered, still looking at her notes. Michael looked at Spock, shocked that they could get along. But leaving the room without questioning it.
Spock left not long after Michael leaving T'lyn all alone again. "May I come in?" Admiral Cornwell asked, standing by the door. "What brings you here, Admiral Cornwell?" T'lyn asks, not looking up from her notes. "You and your mom are more alike than you think, T'lyn." Admiral Cornwell said, walking towards T'lyn. "What do you mean?" T'lyn asked, looking at the Admiral. "She was always reading reports or her notes, making sure she didn't miss anything." the Admiral said, smiling at the memories. "When people found out she and I were related, they couldn't believe it. Because we were so different." the admiral said, remembering her sister.
