A/N ignore the title it isn't as bad as you think it is HAHA  so yeah enjoy! ALSO warning for the heavy dialogue lol and I dont even know if the record label guy has a name so lets just call him Martin also HEARTSTOPPER IS THE BEST SHOW EVER!!

One last opportunity to make history.

One last chance to love again.

   One. Last. Shot.

   They better make it count.

"I think we got the new song down pat, bro. You need to chill or you will be shitty on stage. We all need to do this without a hitch, which includes you," Sapnap worriedly vocalized to Dream, who's hands were shaking on the guitar.

The blond quickly took a couple of deep breaths and tried to pat his hands on his pants, doing anything to get the jittering out of his system. He absolutely needed this plan to work because if and, hopefully, when it did, all of them would be over the moon; including George.

   God.

His smile was like a ray of sunshine beaming from above, while his eyes were color of a milk chocolate lake that he could swim in for eternity. His hair stood on his head in a position that could never be outmatched, while his hands just looked so nice to grab onto for hours. He was so lovely, so bright, so perfect.

Dream was in love; he was in for the long haul now.

That includes the times where they have to leave each other, for the better or worse for their relationship. They had to make it work, though. They were bound by golden ropes that were intertwined by the gods themselves, forcing them together like soulmates; they were truly meant to be.

Whether it be in this lifetime or the next.

"There he is!" Karl shouted as all the boys got in their places(Quackity stood next to them for support).

The mysterious Martin strolled into the parking garage, wearing a tuxedo with black dress pants, looking like he was ready to go to a wine tasting or some other fancy event. His gray hair was slicked back, and his glasses were slightly falling down his petite nose. He held two plane tickets, presumably for him and Dream.

   Here goes nothing.

"Hi Mr. Gold. This is the band! This is George, our usual lead singer, but he was in a car crash that ended up bruising his vocal coords a while ago. He is going to sing with me today, so hopefully nothing goes wrong! This is Karl and Sapnap and then there is Q, who is just here for moral support! We are going to be performing an original song that George wrote called Happier!" Dream enthusiastically introduced, leading to Karl beginning to slowly strum the guitar.

   "Walking down 29th and park

I saw you in another's arms.

"Only a month we've been apart

You look happier,

you do."

Dream sung with the relentless thoughts of the past haunting his mind, his voice shining as bright as the sun. The pain gave the performance a meaning; love is deadly.

"Ain't nobody hurt you like I hurt you

But ain't nobody love you like I do.

"Promise that I will not take it personal baby

If you're moving on with someone new."

He felt those lyrics in his bones as his vocal coords shook at each note. He knew that he was already in for the record deal, but George's part was coming up and he was absolutely terrified. If his voice wasn't ready, not only would they lose the opportunity to be an official band, but they would lose the one thing they all loved more than music; him.
