LEIA CALORE HAD NEVER DONE ANYTHING IMPORTANT ALL HER LIFE. She had gone to school like she was supposed to, she socialized like she was supposed to, and she acted like she was supposed to. She had never stepped foot outside of the box. In fact, she could not even see the box. She was the perfect daughter for any Capitol citizen.
When she turned fourteen, she was offered an apprenticeship working for the stylists for the Hunger Games, an event that was held annually. It was the biggest time of the year in Panem, and she had the chance to be a part of it. However, she had not realized that maybe she really did not want to be a part of it.
Her first Tribute is a boy from District Four named Finnick Odair. He's here age, and she ends up getting attached, helping the boy throughout his experiences through the games that eventually led to him becoming the youngest Victor in the history of the Games, though that might not have been a good thing.
