"Oh Venus is back? Guess there won't be as much you anymore. That's a shame, I liked being around you." Pascal sighed dutifully.

"Shut up Pascal, you came to the shop once and that was it. Now if you please," Hertha snapped suddenly, standing up at the sight of a tall, slightly confused male appearing close to the fountain. Ranboo looked around for a moment before his eyes landed on Hertha, who rushed over happily, "Ranboo! I missed you!" She cheered and hugged him. Realising what she had done, she quickly pushed away and apologised.

"Hertha wow! Uh... green looks great on you!" Ranboo crouched down to Hertha's eye level. Hertha gave him a doubtful look and he sighed with hopelessness, "what now?" He asked.

"No one says green looks good on me. You don't have to lie." She sighed pitifully at Ranboo's unchanged expression. She forgot about everyone else for a second, until Pascal put his hand on her shoulder, "meet Pascal. He's a village boy. We don't talk often though, we share mutual friends." She explained.

"Hi! Pascal. Ranboo? Interesting name I'll say." Pascal whistled and put his hands behind his neck as Hertha brushed him off. "And I'm sorry, but really, no one has ever told Hertha that green is her colour." He pulled a face and gave a light chuckle.

"I'll be the first! I like it, seriously." Ranboo offered and stood up straight, he looked down at the pair, where Hertha looked away slightly with rose-tinted cheeks. A part of Ranboo felt successful at the small sight, "nice meeting you, Pascal. You're named after a unit of pressure." He pointed out while he towered over everyone, "Hertha's going to show me around the village." The boy fiddled with Hertha's hair. "Anyway, we were talking no less than a few hours ago, how could you have missed me?" Ranboo asked Hertha doubtfully.

"You charm me." She fawned before giggling. She played it off as a joke, but meant it wholeheartedly. "Come! Let's go to the field first, oh it's so pretty, the flowers should have bloomed!" Childishly, she pulled on Ranboo's sleeve and pulled him along the cobble path.

"Can I come?" Pascal asked and tagged along.

"Princess Venus would shoot you on sight." Hertha hissed slightly, watching Pascal's face drop a little. "So if you must, then you can. I don't care if you die, I'll be honest." Hertha confessed to herself and continued pulling along the slightly amused Ranboo above her.

"I'd love to! But you're right. Plus you're mean, Hertha." Pascal sighed dramatically. Hertha shuddered at him saying her name, after all, she could only hear the stranger's voice scratching at the back of her mind every time Pascal spoke. "Come back soon." He waved them goodbye as Hertha pulled Ranboo along closer to the castle.

"You know, this isn't a village tour." Ranboo mentioned when they made it to the edge of the grass field.

"Please? I just really want to show you." Hertha insisted and pulled him along.

"F-Fine." He stumbled over an exceptionally strong-rooted tuft of grass, but looked from where he stood as the previously dark and nearly creepy field burst with colours and a stream he had never noticed.

There were all sorts of flowers. Hertha's favourite were the asphodel, which grew a small distance away in a colony close to the shade. There were also narcissus growing closer to the stream and Ranboo's favourite, cypresses. Growing further away were flowers like tulips and daisies. It was amazing for Ranboo to see how so many diverse flowers grew in the same vicinity. It was clearly natural, as many of the flowers grew as they naturally would. Ranboo would know, his sister's were fond of flowers.

Talking was heard in the distance, and Hertha winced when hearing two boys converse. She turned to Ranboo, who took the look as a gesture of asking for help. It was simple enough for Ranboo to hold onto Hertha and suddenly, they were back at the town centre. Adults who walked past offered their confused stares, while some of the younger population approached the pair. A girl spoke up when she got close, looking up at Ranboo, "oh how exciting! Who may this be, Hertha?" Her name was Poppy.
