Seven

"Please! Become this islands Hero!"

"Hero?!?!" Luffy shouted back. "No way!!!"

Jinbe was beyond shocked, "huh?!??"

"We're pirates you know?! I love heroes, but I don't want to be one!!!" Luffy argued. "Do you even know what a Hero is?!" I was standing at this point, too amused to be laying on deck. "For example...you have some meat, right? Pirates will feast on that meat, Heroes will divide it amongst the people. I want to eat that meat!!!"

"I'll give you meat to eat, so listen to what I have to say!" Jinbe said.

"Got it." All will to continue arguing left his body at the promise of food.

I laughed, he should've started with that!

Jinbe's plan was thought out for the most part. Luffy will hide in Megalo, the Shark, until Jinbe himself calls on him to save them. That way, there'd be no question that we're on his side. Nami and Robin will be responsible for stealing the keys for the royals chains and a letter from a Tenryuubito supporting the Queens will to move Fishman Island.

As for the rescue of the crew, he basically told us to solve it ourselves. Sanji and I will have no problem taking care of that!

Luffy grinded his teeth together in irritation, "I'm only doing this because you're asking me to, Jinbe! But if anyone starts cheering for me, I'll be seriously put off!"

Sanji raised his hands and wiggled around, "if the mermaids start cheering me on, I'll take on even the King of Demons!"

"You have my thanks..." Jinbe trailed off in thought. "Should we pick a strategy name?"

"Like we need that!!! Hurry up!!!"

I giggled, "operation 'Luffy the Hero!' start!"

"I'm gonna kick your ass Hana!"

I stuck my tongue out, inviting him to try it.

"We don't have time for your lovers spat!" Nami scolded us.

I laughed, "yeah yeah, I'm going now." I glanced at Hachi still on the ground. He told us that Decken targeted him using his devil fruit ability, so there's a chance he may still be in danger. "Hachi, Caimie, you two can stay in my home for now. Decken can't reach you there."

They were confused, but after a short explanation, we were finally on our way to the palace aboard the Sunny. We had maybe two hours before we had to be at the plaza. For Jinbe's plan to work, we needed to get the timing just right. This plan gave me a little bit of time to prepare for the fight, and I intended to take advantage of that.

Zoro's energy was nothing to sneeze at, but I'd feel better if I had Sanji's as well.

"Sanji," I called as I walked up to him. "I'm going to go ahead and grab them, is that okay?"

He lit up his cigarette before replying, "that's fine, but are you sure? We are a little pressed for time, but not so much that you have to waste your energy."

"I want to get the rescue out of the way quickly. And once that's taken care of, if you're willing," I smiled up at him, "will you give me your energy?"

"You guys are cutting it kinda close, aren't ya?" I asked as I hovered outside of the cage. The water was rushing in from many sides, and I'm surprised that they were so calm.

"Hana! Get us out of here!" Usopp shouted.

"I will, but what happened to Brook? Is he dead?" I couldn't feel any trace of his soul in his bones anymore.
