Nami decided we wouldn't leave until the marines did, so they were forced to depart on a Tanker repaired by Franky.

The marines forced the children to stay back, refusing to let them say goodbye until they said they liked pirates better than marines. After that, even the marines admitted that they loved us. I couldn't help but cry along with them as we all said goodbye.

Smoker refused to look at me as the distance grew greater, and the emptiness in my chest didn't lessen. I sighed, almost wishing that we weren't on separate sides.

I had no time to mope around any longer though, the grand ocean that is the New World threatened to capsize us as soon as the island faded in the distance.

As soon as the sea calmed down a little, I sat on the rails staring at Law as he spoke through a transponder snail. I recognized Doflamingo's voice on the other end, and the anger in his tone had chills running down my spine. Law spoke with the utmost confidence as he made his demands, but I could feel his terror.

Very soon, he cut off the communication. He let out a deep breath and looked up to see my stare. I gave him a smile and held my arms out towards him, beckoning him to come closer. The bond I formed with him had long since faded, and I wondered if he would be willing to reconnect with me again.

I beamed joyfully when he made his way over, settling into my arms as naturally as he did before. I wrapped myself around his form as he leaned into me.

"Torao! Who were you just talking to?" Luffy asked, ignoring our embrace.

"Doflamingo," he stated, tickling my neck with his breath.

"Doflamingo?!" Usopp repeated. "From the warlords?! Isn't he, like, the most dangerous one to mess with?! And why are you two so cozy already?!"

Law sighed before removing himself from me. "The plan is already in motion."

"Plan?" Zoro asked.

"Oh yeah, we better explain the plan! Gather around everyone!" Luffy ordered.

"We're forming an alliance to take down one of the Yonko?!"

"An emperor huh? I like it," Zoro smirked.

"You shouldn't!!!" Usopp scolded him. "Hang on just a little bit! About this alliance, can you explain it to those of us who don't know about it?!"

"Sure!" Luffy grinned, throwing his arm over Law's shoulder. "Torao's crew, and us, are in an Alliance, so let's all get along!"

I snickered at the dark look on Law's face.

"Any objections?!" Usopp immediately shouted. Nami and Chopper both had their hands raised.

"Do our objections even matter?" Brook asked. "Luffy already made the decision, didn't he?"

Sanji puffed his cigarette and sneakily leaned over to Law, "just a heads up, Luffy's definition of 'alliance', is probably different from yours. Watch out."

He sweat dropped, and I could feel a spark of recognition, as if he's heard that before.

"But that explains it," Sanji continued. "It was out of his character to be talking about abduction. I thought he wanted me to cook up this weird looking sheep," he said as he pointed to Ceaser. I gagged at the thought.

Ceaser started going on about Doflamingo and how we were gonna regret messing with them and etc... I tuned him out, deciding instead to see how many knots I could tie in Luffy's fingers.

I did pay attention when Law explained how the territories were formed in the New World. A lot of the crime was done underground under aliases to avoid marine detection. Doflamingo is one of the most trusted and powerful man in this crime ring, and his alias is Joker.
