Fourteen

As soon as I understood the situation, I joined Luffy and Usopp on the ground. We laughed until tears poured out of our eyes! I'm so glad I went home for a while!

"When are you gonna stop laughing?! This is your problem too!" Nami screamed with Franky's face.

I burst out laughing even harder. "Nami!!! You can't do that with Franky's face! You're killing me here!"

"It's that funny, huh?! Well I can't sleep with you if I have this body!"

I shut up. I turned to the others with a look of grave desperation on my face, "guys! We have to solve this problem immediately!"

"That's what you have a problem with?!?!"

....

"So, to sum it all up..." I paid attention to Usopp. I noticed that the head now has legs, but no torso. And Torso-less happens to be the Samurai that was mentioned on the snail. He's here to look for his son, who not even the children recall seeing.

"The problem is after that signal from the snail...what happened there?" Zoro asked.

"That man just now! The ones around him were yelling Shichibukai!" The head- er, samurai, said.

"What?! Torao became a Shichibukai?!" Luffy asked in shock.

"You guys saw Law?!" I asked, knowing who Luffy was referring too.

"He joined the Shichibukai in the last two years," Robin informed him. She turned to me and just gave me a knowing smile.

"Before I knew it, my body was cut in three!" Samurai said. But that's explains it. Thinking back, I probably should've known.

Brook mentioned that he had seen a torso when he was trying to find everyone else, and the Samurai immediately went off to look for it. Though I don't think the others noticed. Oh well, farewell Torso-less.

Usopp made headbands with faces for the switched souls to make it easier to tell who's who, but it just confused me further. It was easier to keep my eyes closed.

The others were talking to some guy named Brownbeard who Luffy's group had captured on their way here.

He explained why they all had animal lower bodies. His was a crocodile, I think.

He said they used to be prisoners, and were forced to be apart of human experimentation by Vegapunk, the marines head scientist. But something he was working on blew up several labs and unleashed a poisonous gas on the island. The survivors took refuge in the only facility left, but lost use of their legs from the nerve damaging toxin. Then their Master came and improved their life, then Law came and gave them brand new legs by using animals.

"Torao's a really great guy!" I opened my eyes to see Luffy grinning. "He saved me too!"

I smiled as I remembered it. It really was thanks to him that I can still smile with two of the most important people in my life.

"Vegapunk is such a cruel man..." Nami said.

"So the guy with the sheep legs at the facility were made with that guys ability..." said Sanji.

"The centaurs and the bird lady...now I get it. But wait, what about the Dragon?"

I turned to Usopp in shock, "a dragon?!"

"Ahh...so you saw the dragon." Brownbeard said. "It's an artificial being created to guard this island. It can adapt to any environment. If you meet it, run. It's ferocious."

"Got it." Then Zoro muttered, "we ate it though..." !!!?

Brownbeard continued to try and intimidate us about his Master, but I was more interested in the dragon.
