Chapter 9

Ahan's Pov,

The best 6 months of my life & forever to go. This woman has changed me totally. Nobody has to make me realize that I'm totally whipped. I know I'm an idiot not to confess my feelings to her sooner but I want to give her the best surprise that she deserves. From the last 2 months I'm working day & night so that we can spend our honeymoon tension free. Yes guys!! I have already decided the place, time, booked everything & even had a talk with Mishka's manager to approve her leave for those days. Few more days to go 😁. I'm so ready to take our relationship to the next level I just hope she feels the same about me. 

Our Saturday night dates are the best. Somedays we go for longdrives in the outskirts of the city and somedays we have deep long conversations. In short we spend the best time. She is my life. This Friday we are going to celebrate our 6 months anniversary. I have already brought the kanjivaram saree she liked and now ofcourse I am planning to surprise her with lots of other gifts. 

Coming out of the shopping I recognized one familiar face. Is that Naina! What is she doing here? She is supposed to be in London with Vishal. After our break-up we lost contact. We were friends for years but then one day she decides to break our friendship bond.

" Hey Naina!"  I called her from behind for the sake of our old friendship. " Ahan! Hi how are you?"  Naina asked me after masking her shocking face. " I'm doing well. How are you? When did you came back?" I asked.  " Mishka is really pretty. I have seen your marriage pictures on social media. Congratulations to both of you "  Naina said ignoring my questions. " Oh really now you are congratulating me! You have totally shut me down when I tried to contact you. Not only me but our whole group. Leave this thing & tell me how are you? Where is Vishal?" I asked. " I came here alone" Naina replied but there is a sad tone in her voice. 

I genuinely want to invite her to our anniversary party afterall she is an old friend but Mishka is planning everything so I don't want to disrespect her. I'll talk to her then we will decide we both are a team, her opinion matters the most. " Hey Ahan! oh god you are so in love buddy! Look at your face literally day-dreaming and smiling " Naina laughed. I know I know that I'm in love. I smiled at her while scratching  the back of my neck.  " Now you tell me how are you? Don't even try to lie. We have been friends since college" I asked her. " Fine Ahan I'm not going to lie. Let's go at the cafeteria and catch up " 

We are right now sitting in the cafeteria. " I and Vishal are on a break . I don't know where we stand right now. We have been fighting a lot lately. We are going through a financial crisis our business is drowning and so is my relationship" She started crying. Ok now I'm feeling awkward I don't have any idea how to console her. The only person I can manage is my Mishka.  Ahan stop thinking about Mishka right now your friend needs your help. " Don't cry Naina. Talk with him I think he is also miserable without you. " I tried to console her. " Hey Naina I can help you guys with your business if possible. As a business analyst I can totally help you guys. Have a talk with Vishal and let me know. You have my number now. Hopefully we can find a solution"  Naina nodded at my suggestion. " Thank you so much Ahan. But I have request please don't tell anyone about this. Even my parents don't have any idea about this. They think I'm here for a vacation. I'll call Vishal today only and let you know " I just smiled and nodded.

Ahan's ex is back. Do you guys think she will create a rift in between Ahan & Mishka?
