THE NEXT MORNING, Diana showed up at the Blythe's house to both scold and praise Juliette for what she did. The two girls talked over a cup of tea.
''So, you're telling me i'm going to apologize to Josie?'' She sulked. ''Diana, i don't know..''
''Juliette, apologizing will make it better for the both of you.'' Diana explained as she took a sip of her tea. ''Would you rather be on bad terms with her?''
She shook her head in response. ''What about the girls?''
''I'll try and smooth things over, but you will have to apologize to Josie eventually.'' Diana stated and took another sip from her tea.
After a moment of silence, Diana decided to leave Juliette to think about what she had been told.
''Tell me about it tomorrow, okay? I must go now.'' Diana smiled and hugged Juliette before walking out of the front door.
With a sigh, she decided to get the apology over with.

Standing in front of the door to Josie's house made the apology task seem a lot harder. It was like the house was taunting her. After a while of contemplating, she brought her hand up to knock on the door, but the door opened before she could even knock.
''Hello, Juliette.'' Josie forced a smile. ''Have you come here to punch me again?''
''No, actually, i've come to apologize.'' Julie finally said. It felt like she was about to gag, apologizing to Josie is a thing she'd never expected she would do.
Josie had a puzzled look on her face, like she couldn't believe what she was hearing and neither could Julie.
''What? You came here to apologize?''
Julie nodded and left Josie even more shocked, she couldn't help but sigh.
''Okay listen, i'm sorry for slapping you. I hope we can be on better terms.''
oh no that was a wack apology.. Julie wanted to slap herself for that.
Josie seemed to think for a moment. ''I'll accept your apology if you help Ruby with Gilbert.''
as if!
''Can't you just accept my apology? It was already humiliating enough to even apologize to you.'' She argued.
Josie scoffed and shook her head, ''Always so difficult.''
Josie was about to close the door on her, but she stopped the door with her foot.
''Please Josie, just accept my apology.''
Josie seemed to hesitate.
''Fine, i'll accept your apology.''
finally.
''Thank you.'' She smiled at Josie who returned the gesture in the slightest. ''You won't regret it!'' Julie assured her, and walked away from the home.
Anne had earlier invited Julie to visit her.
Excitement rushed through her at the thought of seeing Anne again, maybe Anne would show her the books she had been talking about so much.
Julie's thoughts went to an halt when she passed the farmhouse, and accidentally bumped into a boy, causing her to lose her balance. The boy immediately helped her up. ''I'm so sorry, are you alright mon belle?'' such a sweet way to talk..
She stood in awe for a second. ''Yes i'm fine, thank you.''
