1.- Ex-North British Railway Holmes 'C' class 0-6-0 no. 659/9659/5235/65235 "Gough" - built August 1891 - re-boilered 1915 - sent to France during WWI 1917 - named 'Gough' 1919 - re-numbered: 1926 to 9659 by the LNER - withdrawn 1961 - bought by the St Andrew Rly: 1962 - current status: static display, awaiting overhaul
2.- Ex-North British Railway Reid 'J' class 4-4-0 no. 426/9426/2435/62435 "Norna" - built July 1915 - re-numbered: 1925 to 9426 by the LNER - June 1935: Steam brakes fitted, June 1935: Westinghouse Brake removed - withdrawn 1957 - kept at Hawick for 5 years - bought by the St Andrew Rly: 1962 - current status: operating
3.- Ex-London & North Eastern Railway Gresley 'A3' class 4-6-2 no. 2744/553/90/60090 "Grand Parade" - built 23/08/1928 - re-numbered: 1946 to 90 and 1949 to 60090 - withdrawn 28/10/1963 - bought by the St Andrew Rly: 01/01/1964 - current status: operating
4.- Ex-North British Railway Holmes 'D' class 0-6-0T no. 810/9810/8457/68457 "Matthew" - built March 1901 - re-numbered: September 1924 to 9810, May 1946 to 8457, September 1948 to 68457 - withdrawn 11/03/1960 - bought by the St Andrew Rly: 1961 - current status: operating, boiler ticket expiring this year
