Aarav stared at them with disbelief, they were ready to part away from each for Kausalya's stubbornness. He held the papers from the middle and was about to tear them but Nitya stopped him "nahi Aaru... please maa.."
Tears brimmed down his eyes, the sadness was clearly visible on his face. He was deeply hurt that his brother and his sister-in-law hid such a big truth from him. Past three days, they had been lying to him and most importantly hiding the pain. Aarav could not believe his ears, what was happening but currently more important was to handle the situation as his mother had crossed all the limits today.
He glanced towards Nitya and asked "aur mera kya bhabhi Maa??" How can she even think of leaving the house?
Nitya was silent, Aarav spoke up "jawab do bhabhi Maa.. aap toh chali jaogi bhai ko divorce deke! Mera khayal kaun rakhega? 7 saal se jo aapki aadat lagi hai mujhe wo kaise chutegi?"
Nitya looked up at him and said "Aaru.. janti hun tujhe bhi takleef hogi par aur koi rasta nahi tha na mere paas.. Maa ne khana peena chod diya aur Maa ko kuch ho jaata toh main khudko maaf nahi kar paati"
Aarav refused to listen to anything "mujhe kuch nahi sunna hai! Aap dono ne itni badi baat mujhse chupayi! Alag hone ka faisla tak kar liya.. Ab wo hoga jo main chahta hun" he shouted. He was hurt deeply.
Aniket looked at him and said "Aaru.. baat sun please"
Aarav stepped back and shouted "no.. aap dono ko alag hona manzur hai par main apni bhabhi Maa ko door jaane nahi de sakta hun!"
"Aur apni maa ko marte hue dekh sakte ho?" Nitya questioned him.
Aarav moved toward Kaushalya's room and found her sitting on the bed. Nitya and Aniket followed him as they didn't want him to confront her in this condition. Aarav asked "Maa tumhe iss ghar mein bacha chahiye na?"
"Haan chahiye.." Kaushalya said.
"Toh uske liye bhai aur bhabhi maa ka divorce karane ki koi zaroorat nahi hai" Aarav declared and tore the divorce papers in front of her eyes.
Kaushalya was shocked with his act, she stood up on her feet without any support and shouted "Aarav ye kya kiya tune.. Itni muskil se kagaj banwaye they"
"Tum jitne marzi divorce papers taiyar kar lo.. Main unhe aise hi phadta rahunga! Sirf ek bache ke liye main tumhe bhabhi Maa ki zindagi barbaad nahi karne dunga" He said in a firm tone.
Nitya looked at him with teary eyes, Kaushalya asked "aur mujhe marne dega? Haan?"
"Nahi.. tumhe bhi ye khana peena chodne ki zaroorat nahi hai! Iss ghar mein bacha aayega aur wo bacha bhaiya aur bhabhi maa ki hoga" Aarav declared.
Kaushalya gave him a look and said "tu pagal ho gaya hai? Kuch bhi bole jaa raha hai! Ye banjh hai"
Aarav closed his eyes for a moment and said "maa.. Bas bhabhi Maa ke khilaf ab main kuch nahi sununga!! Koi bhai ki dusri shaadi nahi hogi... surrogacy ke through bhai aur bhabhi Maa maa baap ban sakte hai"
Kaushalya was confused, Aarav explained "maltab ek dusri aurat apni kok kiraye pe deke bhai aur bhabhi Maa ke bache ko janam degi.."
Kaushalya refused "tu pagal ho gaya hai?? Aise kisi bhi aurat ko tu kahega aur woh 9 mahine kisi aurke bache ko apni kok mein rakhegi.. Jaane kaisi hogi nahi nahi.. Bacha maa ke andar se hi sanskar seekhne lagte hai.."
Aarav declared "Maa.. agar iss ghar mein bacha aayega toh surrogacy ki wajah se! Warna main iss ghar ko hamesha ke liye chodke chala jaunga!"
Kaushalya was shocked to hear him. He walked out of the room and headed straight upstairs. Aniket eyed Kaushalya and said "Maa.. Aarav galat nahi kah raha hai.. Main bhi dusri shaadi karne se behtar Aarav ke faisle ko manzuri dunga" Aniket was filled with happiness as on right time Aarav stopped him from creating a sin of signing the divorce papers.
Kaushalya looked at him, she said "lekin.."
"Maa tum meri shaadi bhi isi wajah se kara rahi thi na?? Aur tum bhi nahi chahogi Aarav ghar chodke jaaye.. Bahut ziddi hai jo kehta hai karke dikhata hai" Aniket said, trying to convince Kaushalya to agree with Aarav's decision.
He walked out of the room, followed by Nitya. They exchanged glances with each other and smiled lightly as Aarav found the right solution to their pain.
They headed upstairs to his room and found him punching the punch box hard, he was actually pouring out his anger on it. He recalled Nitya's and Aniket's emotional conversation they were having, he deeply felt their pain of not having a child in their life.
Aniket came in front of him and held the punching bag, Aarav stared at him and said "samne se hatho bhai"
"Aaru.. humse naraz hai na tumpe gussa nikal apna iss bejaan pe nahi" Aniket said.
"Mujhe aap dono se baat hi nahi karni hai! Main toh kuch lagta hi nahi hun na dono ka.. Chale they alag hone aur aapne socha bhi kaise main iss ghar mein kisi aur aane dunga meri bhabhi bankar?" Aarav hits hard on the punching bag while Aniket moves aside as it was about to hit him.
"Main acha soch toh kya sapne bhi nahi dekh sakta hun Aaru.. ye zid toh teri bhabhi Maa aur hamari Maa ki thi" Aniket said dejectly.
Aarav eyed him and asked "Aur aap maan gaye?? Bas itna hi pyaar karte ho unhe?"
Nitya smiled hearing his words, Aarav rolled his eyes towards her and confronted her "Aap zyada muskurao mat! Aapse bhi gussa hun main.. Mujhe baat nahi karni hai"
He sat down on the bed crossing his arms across his chest. Aniket sighed deeply at his stubbornness, he was about to move to him but Nitya tapped his arm lightly indicating she would speak to him.
Nitya moved towards him and sat down beside him while Aarav slid an inch away from her showing his anger. Nitya asked softly "ye kya? Apni bhabhi Maa se naraaz hai?"
He didn't utter a single word but remained in his attitude. Nitya added "Aaru.. mujhe sach mein koi aur rasta nazar nahi aa raha tha.. Tujhe bata dete toh tum humhe kabhi ye kadam uthane nahi dete aur hum Maa ko kho sakte they! Aur jab Maa se bache door jaate hai uska dard mujhse behtar koi nahi samajh sakta hai..." she was emotional while speaking.
Aarav turns towards her and melts down in a minute. He asked "aur aapne ye socha bhabhi Maa ke jaane ke baad iss bete ka kya hota??"
Nitya holds her ears and apologizes "I am sorry.. Par tu bhi toh samjhta hai na abhi bhabhi Maa ki majboori.. Aur mujhe yakeen tha mera Aaru mujhe kahi nahi jaane dega"
Aarav lifts her hands down "aap please aise sorry kahke mujhe aur guilt mein mat dalo bhabhi Maa.. I am sorry meri maa ki wajah se aapko itna sab sunna padta hai ye kaafi nahi tha toh wo aapka aur bhai ka divorce karane chali thi.." he apologized to her on behalf of his mother for her deeds.
"Haalat galat hai Aaru.. hum sab nahi" Aniket said.
Aarav glared at Aniket and said "aapse toh main ab bhi naraz hun bhai!"
Aniket sighed deeply and said "galti Maa kare.. Biwi mujhe force kar divorce papers sign karne ke liye aur mera bhai mujhse naraz ho! This is unfair"
Aarav smiled at him and then gave a serious look in a second "aapki inn baaton se main nahi manne waala hun!"
"Ani.. tum ise baad mein manate rehna.. Acha ye bata ye surrogacy hum sach mein maa baap ban sakte hai?" Nitya questioned him.
Aarav smiled and nodded in yes "haa.. Ye maine Maa ko behlane ke liye nahi kaha tha!"
He stood up and went to the wardrobe, he took out a file from it and showed it to Nitya "ye dekho bhabhi Maa.. isme surrogacy ka pura process hai!"
Nitya opened the file with hopes of becoming a mother. She began to read and tears brimmed down her eyes. Aarav wiped her tears "ab aansu nahi bhabhi Maa.. ab iss ghar mein khushiyan aayengi! Aur main wada karta hun bhai ki surrogate main dundhunga.. Aapko unse alag hone ki koi zaroorat nahi hai" he promised her.
Nitya was blessed to have a brother-in-law like him. She kissed his forehead and earned his smile in return.
Aarav was now determined to find a surrogate for his brother.
