To My Sweet Doves

My doves,
My dears,

I have loved you so.
But I must go on home.
I must go to Him with His arms wide open and an apology seeping it's way through His trembling lips.

My doves,
My dears,

I have been so sad for far too long.
I have been so sad singing my lost song.
I must go home to my eternal bed for my eternal rest with an apology forming on my cold lips.

Forgive me my doves, as I know I hurt you so.
Forgive me my dears, as I know I have left your heart with so much sorrow.

But trust me, my doves, there is always tomorrow,
And I will never truly leave you on your own.

My doves,
My dears,
I will never leave you truly alone.
