The Gallows

I stood upon hallowed grounds
to show that I do not burn.

I laid kisses upon the ground
To show that I love Him as they do.

And yet...
I was dragged away...

I screamed to the heavens,
"May God hear my voice and let the angels weep with me, for me!"

And when I was taken to the gallows,
I screamed what Christ had cried...

"Lord, forgive them, for they no not of what they are doing!"
And I fell...
