Marinette just got back from superheroing with chatnoir and viperion. She quickly detransformed and called Ayla

"Ayla I have a date with kagami today and I don't know what to wear. how do I talk to her. maybe she just said yes to be polite"

"Hold on mari that doesn't sound like kagami and you're a fashion designer I'm sure you can pick out an outfit"

"Okay you're right it's not a big deal except I'm going on a date with the cutest girl in the world"

"Okay, okay just send me picks of some outfits and I'll tell you what looks good don't stress your going to be amazing"

Marinette picked out three outfits. The first one was just her regular outfit. The second one was an aline dress that goes down to her knees with flowers at the bottom. The shoes were flats in a pink color to match the dress. The last one was ripped mom jeans with fishnets underneath and a cropped black hoodie and converse for shoes.

I like the last one but the second one feels more formal and the first one is definitely you remember it's just to the movies

Just do some simple eyeliner and lipgloss or something

I'll put some mascara on too

Marinette pit on the outfit went to the bathroom to do her makeup. She found some reddish lipstick and put it on. Then turned to the eternal struggle of eyeliner because she of course had to do winged eyeliner when she finally got it even, she put her mascara on.

She looked at herself in the mirror making small adjustments to her outfit and she decided that something was missing she decided to put some blush on to hide her actual blushing and some highlights so her face didn't look so flat.

At that moment the doorbell rang Marinette went downstairs to greet kagami. Kagami smiled her little smile and waved a small wave. She was wearing a pleated skirt and a button down tucked into it.

"I'm so excited to see you" Marinette hugged kagami.

"You look really pretty Marinette" kagami hugged back "we should get going so we don't miss our movie"

"You guys have fun" Marinette's dad called.

"Be back before supper" Marinette's mom said.

"Sorry about my parents they're a little over excited"

"I think your parents are wonderful"

"Really you don't think it's embarrassing"

"No not at all"

"That's a relief"

Mari and kagami walked in silence for most of the walk only interrupted by kagami asking to hold Marinette's hand which she of course said yes to.

They got to the movies a little early so they had to watch a lot of previews they both thought it was boring so they started up a conversation.

"Marinette, what is your favorite color"

"I don't know what color are your eyes" kagami blushed by this and turned away to hide it. "Sorry about that I wasn't trying to make you uncomfortable"

"No it was...nice of you"

"Oh okay"

One of the other people in the theater told them they had to be quiet so they sat in silence watching the screen.

Half way through the movie kagami laid her head on Marinette's shoulder. Marinette freezed up then relaxed and leaned her head so it was on top of kagami's.
