Marinette knew the only chance she would get to tell kagami was either right before fencing practice or right after. She decided that she would talk to her right after fencing.
Marinette got there five minutes early so she waited out side the doors. Adrian and kagami walked out together Marinette shouted in their general direction "hey I need to talk to you"
"What is it" Adrian answered.
"Not you kagami"
They both look surprised but kagami said "make it quick I don't want to keep my mother waiting"
Adrian walked away sensing their conversation was private
"Okay so I think you're awesome and amazing and I've had a crush on you for a little while and just wanted to tell you you don't have to feel the same I just wanted to tell you"
"Marinette you are a wonderful person I would be honored to be your girlfriend"
"Really"
"Yes"
"Okay well text me when you get the chance"
Marinette ran off to go tell Ayla the good news. Kagami smiled at her new girlfriend.
"Kagami get in the car"
"Yes mother" in that moment kagami had forgotten about her mother. She didn't know how to tell her. She decided that she would just have to be careful about it.
Kagami got home and her mother actually let her have some free time so she texted Marinette
